Much like its fellow emirates, Ras al Khaimah views the future as a world of opportunity, most evident in the capital city of the same name (also called Ra’s al Khaymah or RAK).
Although its skyline is not yet as dramatic as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, RAK still has plenty of skyscrapers, many housing hotels and apartments on Booking.com. Some overlook its long, sandy beach, alongside luxury resorts. Watersports activities include diving, and to the south-west is Ice Land waterpark.
Desert safaris are a great way to explore the rugged terrain behind the city, site of Al Sawan camel racetrack and Ras al Khaimah Airport. One of the world’s first spaceports is also planned to be out here.
Saqr Park on the capital’s outskirts is the largest UAE park, and the Tower Links Golf Club is another green spot by a lagoon joined to the sea via Ras al Khaimah Creek. The nearby beachfront Corniche is a popular picnic spot, with landscaped gardens and lots of boutiques and cafés.
More shops are in Manar Mall and the ‘Little India’ district of Al Nakheel. The old city has a bustling souk and the National Museum of Ras al Khaimah, housed in Al Hisn Fort. Another important sight is majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque with its 4 graceful minarets.

Do not book through Booking.com as they over charge over hotel tariff and also the hotel doesn't refund in case you shorten your trip. For example the hotel staffs here told me the tariff is actually 160-200 AED and booking .com charged me over 250. I finished the job early and checked out one night earlier but they made me pay for entire period as booking .com had already got their commission .

The Northern Emirates are a real gem, providing a completely different experience from Dubai/ Abu Dhabi. Because it is close to the mountains and the Omani border, there are new places to visit. Really worthwhile!

Raw Al khaimah is much less impressive than other emirates.
Raw Al khaimah is much less impressive than other emirates. The city is very widespread. There are few tourist sites. The major attractions are extreme high end resorts and some high adrenaline activities. Buses quite infrequent. Lots of malls.

Things I liked:
the beach , pools, rooms.
Things I liked:
the beach , pools, rooms. Late check out, free
Upgrade from garden view to pool view. Cleanliness of rooms.
Things I didn’t like:
Some staff are friendly to all and some are friendly to certain people . Some staff pretend not to speak good English to avoid talking to you. Half board got several packages, some packages comes with water only no sodas of any kind. Gym needs more and better equipments.
The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah exceeded our expectations of a 5 star resort. The villa was spacious, clean and tastefully furnished. What made the stay exceptional for us, were all the staff. From the person that greeted us on our arrival, to the front reception, the staff who drove the buggies, the activities staff (a special thanks to Martin) and the staff in the restaurants. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful and all service were provided with beautiful smiles. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
The property location was superb, you were deep into the Ras Al Khaimah desert with nothing around apart from other desert camps. We were upgraded to a premium suite that was well decorated, clean presentation and provided all the necessities. It was extremely quiet the majority of the time, staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable and the whole staff coriander felt carefree.
Good range of food options, entertainment in the evening was great and the added range of activities e.g. camel riding were so enjoyable.
One of the best suites we have stayed so far in Ras al KHAIMAH. The check in was seamless, thanks to Mr. Sadi. Special thanks to Diana for going all out and helping us booking a good apartment on.the ground floor. The pool and the Jacuzzi was spot on and maintained very well. The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights and we would like to thank the chef at the restaurant for arranging the breakfast for us.
Overall it was a fantastic stay when compared with Hilton resort which is right opposite the Mughal Suites..😀
Very convenient location actually closer to Dubai and the entry of RAK. New hotel and amenities are quite well serviced. The resort offers a Maldives like experience with the strips of lands and villas in the water. Magical atmosphere.
The staff kindness and willingness to serve clients at their best is noticeable. 2 particular ones stand out Ibrahim on the pool side and Imran on the beach side made our experience very enjoyable.
The room was definitely nice, like 5 star nice! The staff was really friendly, like everyone that I've met asked how i was or if i needed anything. From the reception to the housekeeping and the staff as well in the breakfast, I'm really thankful to them. I would definitely come back and would also recommend this hotel to my friends. It was a nice stay for my birthday, and the cake was really thoughtful!
Beautiful location, good hotel facilities. We stayed in the family suite, which was a massive and very cool layout! The food was not exceptional, but you can not expect more from the buffet restaurant, right? All the staff are very friendly and helpful there, very good kids club with lots of activities for the little ones. It is one of the best kids clubs that you find in the resorts!
The best thing of our stay was the hotel staff especially Mr. Roshan Rupasinghe from the Club lounge. The purpose of our stay was to celebrate our child’s gender reveal. Mr. Roshan went out of his way to organize it to the best of his ability and making it a memorable one for me & my wife. I would really like to thank him for his effort.
The place is amazing! We received a great service from the staff, specially thanks to Rossel (Reception) and Abdulla (buggy driver), and the guy who prepared the omellette, they were the best of the hotel!
Thank you so much
Matias (Argentina) and Irakli (Giorgia).

Room, beds, breakfast, spa are excellent! Amazing atmosphere of Mediterranean town. Staff is very polite, friendly, help-full. Coffee is really good 😍. The hotel is absolutely recomended for romantic holidays, honeymoon, just for good relax
Everything, apart from the fact that the view is into one building, but from the right side you can see Ras Al Khaimah's mangroves, so it's all fine. New property, comfortable bed, spacious closet. Clean bathroom, all amenities available.
We like to stay with our family in Rixos BAB Al Bahr! The program for adults and kinds all good organized.
We are happy to return again.
Aditya, Prothamesh and Phanidra thank you for management of hotel. They solve all question for us!
Ras Al Khaimah Hotel is always fantastic. staff was good. Special thanks to Mr. Sultan always gives us all the help and a very good follower throughout our stay. Really, thank you.
Second time to Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah, the Best time to enjoy the kid's small water park. My son enjoys it a lot.
The staff was very friendly, rooms are very clean.
one of the room service guys he is young and so energetic. he did his best to make us happy. I pray for him to go to a better hotel, not sure but maybe his name was AZAR
I like the breakfast and its location that is very close to the amenities. I will recommend to stay in this hotel for those who are visiting Ras Al Khaimah
