We stayed at Akti Imperial Deluxe Resort & Spa Dolce by Wyndham. Great staff - friendly and accommodating. Place is huge. We were a group of 13 and in 4 separate rooms all in totally different corners of the accommodation. Which was kind a good and a bit inconvenient at the same time. Loved the distances we had to move our bodies to reach others in their rooms - especially after eating way too much and rather overeating. Boat trips around Rhodos and to Symi are totally recommended. Road trip to South of the island and Lindos also recommended. Ixia is a suburb of Rhodes. Quickly accessible by taxi.
Ixia is a suburb of Rhodes. Quickly accessible by taxi. But otherwise, Ixia is not a respectable city. Nevertheless, Ixia has a few very good restaurants: Romeo, Taverna and Greco are highly recommended.

Accommodation "Blue Eyes" is 50 meters from the main road...
Accommodation "Blue Eyes" is 50 meters from the main road with lots of restaurants, shops, and car/scooter rentals. Taxi from/to the airport is 21€, public bus nr 50 is 3.5€. Rodos City is 12km away, accessible by bus, or any rental (electric bike, scooter, car). Had a favorite music bar with a live rock band "Double Deuce" playing almost every night.

Our area of Ixia was very scruffy with few alternative places to eat and drink as a change from the hotel. I suppose this reflects the fact that all inclusive hotels eliminate traditional small family concerns. It was expensive to get to and from the hotel at €32 to Rhodes Town making the day expensive.

Loved Ialysos.
Loved Ialysos. Have stayed in Rhodes several times and it was nice to stay somewhere different. It's fairly close to the airport, but you got used to the planes and it certainly didn't spoil our holiday. The people there are really lovely, everybody was very helpful and welcoming. The food was lovely. That side of the island is really interesting to explore. Just drive carefully, there are some narrow villages and folk walking in the street and young folk driving bikes a bit too fast, just take your time and you'll absolutely love the place.CarolineUnited Kingdom

Also, the mini fridge was very off and it hardly worked, I would recommend the hotel incorporate that the fridge would always work even if no one is in the room. Also, the room service phone I had no idea how to use it. (this is not a minus or anything just my personal note)KhairIsrael

The landlord Vasilis is very kind, and has prepared many daily necessities and drinks for us. There are also cute cat Meow and Anna's dog Hector in the yard, which are very friendly to people. We really enjoyed our stay here. If you can rent a car, this will be the perfect choice for your vacation accommodation.
