Location is great. Cleanliness you sometimes 2 days without cleaners, they say they are short staffed. Checking is by small window and you are outside, and their breakfast consisting of children juices and cherry tarts they give you through the window.

Despite the proximity to the highway in the room it was quiet.
The air conditioner worked well and not even too loud.

Union City is nothing than a small city between Oakland and St Jose, and there is not much to tell and visit. However, right at the entrance is the iFly indoor skydive facilities which may be an interesting one for many people. There are a lot of shopping malls along Union City, Fremont, and Newark too.

Our room had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. I enjoy the products they had in the shower: body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The hotel honored my request for rooms near each other. A full breakfast was provided. Hot and cold items, and the staff present was very attentive. The rooms were up to date, and comfortable. The heater worked fine and the workout room was adequate.
