I stayed with my son just to get him away from his older brothers for a night and that made him happy, we just had to get up early for school the next day so he was bummed that he missed breakfast, but other than that the room is amazingly clean and the tempest in the room met my needs, we stayed in a king room, and it was well worth it, I will definitely be booking for a nightly getaway plenty more times.

We will definitely be returning to Annapolis!
We will definitely be returning to Annapolis! We came primarily for the Osteria 177 dining experience and it did not disappoint! Phenomenal dining atmosphere, service, and food. We walked around main street, saw the historic houses, and went in to a few of the shops. One of the things we did NOT get to experience was the John Paul Jones crypt, but that will be a focal point in the future. Very easy drive, safe colorful town with lots of history, art, and culture. Great place to visit any time of year!

I'm not sure how the city managed it(zoning like crazy), but they've been able to maintain the center of the old part of the city such that all buildings are the original historical brick buildings built in the 1700 and 1800's.
Everything is kept clean and nice. A plethora of restaurants, pubs, and bars. More than enough options for food and drink.
The Naval Academy is just to the North East, and you should plan on spending at least one day there for the museum, and another day for exploring the Academy grounds.
The Inn we stayed at only had valet parking, but everything we cared to explore was easily within walking distance, so no need for a car anyways.
If I had the chance, we would go there again. With only two days, we certainly didn't have enough time for sufficient exploration. Plan on 4-5 days, at least.

I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show. The show itself can eat up the entire time it is on for, as it is such a large show. I found that I didn't get to see much of Annapolis. It is also so close to Baltimore and DC that i could have spent an entire week there over and above what i stayed.

Sad that Chick and Ruth's Diner has dropped the Morning pledge.
always a big draw for us. Just too bad that this great tradition was dropped. Signs of the times I guess. Will look for other options in the future.
Fleet Reserve is a must. That place goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Make sure to spend a day at the Navel Academy. Pride in America is found at this campus.

We went for my husband's 50th USNA reunion. We used the purple van..it was great..as most of our functions were at the Westin.
If I saw correctly...in my rating you tallied a 4.0 rating...NOT correct! More like a 2.0.

The old downtown core is full of friendly peeps, tasty eats and of course the Naval Academy! It’s a very walkable town. In fact I would highly recommend walking as the parking is tough. It’s an old-old navy town so the streets are meant for walking and carriages with horses… thus not a lot of car parking. 11 out of 10 would recommend visiting Annapolis again and again!!
My husband and I ate at the hotel restaurant-Ports of Call one evening during our stay and also ordered room service. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and I would like to give a special acknowledgement to our waiter Roger as he was exceptionally helpful, always with a smile on his face even when it appeared the restaurant may have been short staffed. If we had stayed longer we would've eaten there another night just because of Roger's excellence and making the atmosphere inviting. Thank you!
The BEST staff! Welcoming, friendly, accommodating, informative. Provided extra towels/room items upon request. Alot of breakfast items available that change some daily (pancakes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, coffee, juice, milk, grits, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, muffins, bagels, boiled eggs, etc). Clean. Pool clean. Laundry available ($2 each). Ice and vending machines. About 11 minutes from downtown/main street. Close to target & food spots. Parking onsite. Small fitness center.
The location of Flag House Inn was fantastic - easy access to USNA and downtown Annapolis without being on a noisy, busy street. Our hosts were super friendly and let us park a little early. We had a room with a twin bed for our daughter and a king bed in a separate room for us - lots of space to spread out and it was nice to not be cramped. The best part was the breakfast - really amazing!
Nice staff, spacious room, confortbale beds.
Very clean.
Nice pool open even later in evening. Free pool Billard table.
And a good breakfast with all you need to get you through to lunch.
Good location to visit Annapolis!
And all of this at a really affordable price, so great value for money. Definitely recommended when in the area.
Worst experience ever. Totally incompetent. Lied to me about a $50.00 security deposit. Inept. Unprofessional. Forced to walk away struggle to find accommodations elsewhere. After calling around to several hotels was finally about to get a room a Best Western, Annapolis.
The cleanliness, helpfulness if the staff, ease of check-in and room set-up was great. It was an easy walk to the waterfront. Although the hotel did not offer breakfast at this time, there are plenty of options for breakfast and other meals close by.
Have stayed here a few times and really like this hotel, as it is convenient to the Naval Academy and the people working there are very nice. Overall a good choice when visiting Annapolis. Will definitely stay again.
Close proximity to the downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy, old boutique style hotel with a lot of charm. Staff went out of their way to accommodate an early check in and were so friendly and helpful.
Everything was great. The hotel team was nice and friendly. The girl on the reception helped us with some restaurant tips and was very nice with us, as we were on a honeymoon trip.
The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were fantastic.
The shuttle into Annapolis was very very useful.
All in all an excellent hotel that I will recommend.
