Stunning property, very clean; cute rooms, although they are small and cozy.
Everything inside is new and well maintained.

There's literally many things for everyone to enjoy. The beach is to die for, with perfect waves and sun-kissed sand like you were in the Caribbean.

We returned a 2nd time this summer, mainly to enjoy the concerts each night. We loved The Apathetics....the other 2 nights, not as much. We also took in the fireworks Wednesday night. We were a fair walk to the beach, but reasonable.
The food on the strip is very expensive...your choice whether to buy it or make other plans.
The cars on the strip love to scream their engines, especially past our hotel area.

I went up for a concert at the Hampton Beach Casino and this property was a 5 minute walk away. Only needed 1 night and knew I wouldn't be spending much time in the room. It did have an outdoor balcony - that faced the wall of the building next door, but at least we got to sit outside when we were at the room. The property is "tired" - a bit run-down but for 1 night it was fine. The price was right for these factors.

The man who greeted us upon checkin was very friendly and immediately provided extra towels at our request. The room was the perfect size for what we needed it for. Two adults, two teenagers. We absolute loved that the sink wasn’t in the bathroom! With four girls in a room it was convenient so while one was in the shower the others could share the sink and mirror to get ready. I never want the sink with the shower again. Yes, as the pictures show, the bath/toilet area is very small but we knew that ahead of time from the pictures. The beds are VERY comfortable. The location was perfect for us, we had the option of a 2 minute walk to get to the beach at the quieter end or to walk a bit more and get down to the arcade area which is typically more lively. Either way, not a far walk to everything you need. There are also at least 3 places to walk to within 5 mins for breakfast! We will be back again and hopefully we can request the same room. I will say, our room did not have a view and the window went out to the street partially and the side of another building but we liked this for privacy.

My friends and I wanted a relaxing, beach town vacation and this property was perfect for us. We were able to sit on the beach and relax and on a day that was not forcasting great weather, we headed to Portsmouth, a short drive away, and did some shopping and visited Prescott Park and had great food at The Hearth and Jumpin' Jays. We treated ourselves to the phenomenal ice cream at Beach Plum and had an amazing brunch at The Bench. Dinner at Galley Hatch was amazing. Our room was a good size for us and had everything we needed, although we did let the property manager know the mattresses in the second bedroom needed to be replaced. All in all, though, we had the vacation we wanted and needed.

Shops and restaurants bring us back to Hampton about once a year. It's an hour and half for us, so not mad far. Bernie's Restaurant especially, brings us back... upstairs, outdoor, covered by umbrella, seating...overlooking the beach, traffic, and passers-by.. is equal to the great casual food and drinks... there are times when we travel to Bernie's and home, without seeing much (if any) of the sights nearby. This trip added an overnight stay, so we hit the beach both days, the shops both days, and Bernie's for lunch both days. Win! Win! Win!
After all the bad reviews i was expecting the worse. Our room was fantastic. It was clean. They came everyday of our 5 day stay and cleaned our room and gave us new towels. Hampton hotels are not big and fancy and when you choose to come to hampton beach you know that. The location is perfect. We had a balcony. Was nice to hang our beach towels out to dry. We had a fridge which is great when traveling with kids. There was nothing to complain about.
The room was perfect. We stayed on the ground floor in a super modern room. The TV was huge, so was the bed (king size) and the bathroom was super clean. There was even a little kitchen which we did not use. Went to Hampton Beach to see a concert at the Casino Ballroom which was only a couple of minutes away by foot.
While we didn't really wish to stay right near the strip that is Hampton Beach, we were still within an easy 20 minute driving distance of the quieter beaches just up route 1A to the north.
This hotel is reasonably quiet at night, with very friendly staff; clean and comfortable--we had a good stay, thank you!
What I liked at Hampton Village Inn, (Hampton, NH) Feb-25, 2024…
1) hot tub (Whirlpool) by poolside and the indoor pool .
2) comfortable King sized bed
3) clean sheets and towels
4) Refridgerator and Microwave
5) Coffee in Common area in the mornings
6) Overall Hotel is clean (not very clean)
Historic building with a nice restaurant. Stay here is like back to 1920’s. The Inn is in very old style, very impressive. We like historical architecture and enjoyed time there. Staff are very friendly. Good breakfast. Best place to stay while visiting Hampton Beach.
Felt it was a bait and switch. My goal was to have a pool. We were able to use the pool about 1/2 mile ate the big hotel. Nothing at 12 Ashworth. These were not suites they were low end rental unites.
I went last year same time and the hotel and staff was back to normal expectations. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had good variety . Tables clean and serving area very clean.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and allowed us to park and check in early. The beds are soft, ac worked great, easy walk to the strip, quiet at night, clean room.
The proximity of the motel to Hampton Beach and other amenities. Very quiet which was much appreciated. Parking space was fine and the rooms were spacious and very clean.
