The staff was very friendly, my check in was smooth and pleasant. The bay view from my room was wonderful. I would love to go back when the pool, poolside bar and poolside restaurant is open. The pool and outdoors amenities dosen't open until May 1st.

This is basically a "bare bones" ,motel.......but is clean, comfortable and " easy on the pocketbook" It is close to the ocean and the boardwalk (a little over the bridge drive) and should be okay for families (with close to the boardwalk parking) . This was our second stay there (both times off season) but we would certainly stay there again! These are obviously older units in need of some attention..............but clean and comfy!! Highly recommend if on a budget!! It is also close to affordable food and beverage choices.........a very good locations.

Close to Atlantic City other than that dont waste your money. Don't go by the pics even tho they all show a jacuzzi and you will have a Jacuzzi in your room it doesn't work and if you go the the manager he will say it's not part of the room even tho when you book the room jacuzzi is included.

Loved the fully-stocked kitchen. Appreciated the toiletries and 2 blankets and dishwasher soap. Rita the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. LOVED HER!!!!

There isn't much to do in Somers Point.
There isn't much to do in Somers Point. We stay because we like the restaurant in the area but we only go off season because the wait for tables can be very long. Somers Point is just before the bridge going into Ocean City. I would stay in Ocean City if I wanted to use the beach or go to the boardwalk.

I’ve been here before. Short trip to Ocean City for great beach and boardwalk. Also close to our favorite restaurant (Crab Trep) and point dinner but you have such a good breakfast at SONESTA that we didn’t go there.. We like Somers Point area.
We like Somers Point area. We go to the beautiful beach in Ocean City, NJ so location is very good. Good food choices, diner, and full service restaurants. We have been going to Sonesta and prior to it when it was the Marriott, which in those days was wonderful. This hotel Sonesta has gone downhill over the years. Property is not kept up, service (No service), every time we stay here, I am not happy. The only reason I stay here is the size of the room and the location to the beach. I wish this place would improve.

Somers point just across the causeway from ocean city.
Somers point just across the causeway from ocean city. They have some nice restaurants in the area. It only takes you about 5 minutes to get to ocean city. Like any shore town , traffic can be a little heavy around rush hour in season. It’s a little cheaper than staying in ocean city. If you want to buy alcohol you buy it here . The pool was pretty. That’s all I can say. The breakfast was “HARD BOILED EGGS!!” The breakfast area was dirty and extremely small. In the bathroom, above the toilet was a mirror covering a window that you could see daylight through on the edges because the caulking was so old and dried out. Strong mildew smell and black spots everywhere in the bathroom. There was no pull out bed, that we were told at booking would be available! no blanket on the bed only bedspread! Walls were dirty! Tv propped up in a corner on a tall old dresser. No way was this place acceptable for the rate! I’ve paid far less to sleep in a cleaner environment. I should file a complaint with the BBB to get some of my money back.Robert

The hotel is very basic and does not look like much but for the price it was perfect. The room itself was huge and the bed was comfortable. I did not bring my pet but they do accept pets. We stayed two nights and I know on the second night the hotel was at a full or nearly full capacity. I saw a couple of people with dogs but I never heard any barking or noise from other guests.
