Simple, straightforward. Breakfast was simple but filled us up for the day! Yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal and bagels! The highlight of Tropic was Showdowns Restaurant down the road, go for dinner, and grab the $12 smores dessert for the campfire which the put on every night

Great little cabins. Comfortable beds and we loved being separate to other families in our own cabin, and the kids loved the play area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore the Bryce Canyon! The B&B is super cute and clean. We stayed in a room on the second floor (room 6) which was relatively quiet and had a nice balcony. In the afternoons we relaxed in the sun in the garden of the B&B.
In the morning the host freshly prepared pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, and coffee in the kitchen downstairs and gave recommendations how to spend the day.
You can park your car right in front of the property and several restaurants you can reach by foot.

Although a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the pizza place we ate at was very good.
Clark's store has everything you need for hiking, dinner or a quick snack. Really good coffee

Such a cute little quaint town.
Such a cute little quaint town. There isn't much, but it's great. A few little quaint restaurants, and a gas station, and it's just adorable. Highly recommend starting at Bryce Valley Lodging, mini cabins, little personal adorable ones! You won't be disappointed! Great fun.

Tropic was just a short drive to Bryce Canyon and all the hiking. We enjoyed the coffee shop nearby (Bryce Canyon Coffee) and the restaurant that had live music (Showdowns Restaurant) in the evenings! We were there in early May 2023 and the weather was perfect, 35 to 45 degrees in the morning and 80's at the hottest.

Tropic is a great town being about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. My partner and I stayed at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. With many other activities in the area such as ATVs or electric bicycles, Bryce Wildlife Outfitters is the place to go for ATVing. For Dinner I’d recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and Arriba Mexican Grill. For coffee we went to Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. Inside the park there is dining at Bryce Canyon Lodge, we ate at the buffet for breakfast.

Spent 1 night here as a stop over.
Spent 1 night here as a stop over. Our accommodation was fine but Tropic itself is limited and not helped by the strictly enforced Utah rule of not having a beer without food. In the restaurant this was very odd and we couldn't have a second beer because we hadn't ordered enough food!

Dont stay in Tropic during winter.
Dont stay in Tropic during winter. The whole town is basically close during weekdays in the offseason. All restaurants are only open during weekends. The only place to buy food is the 66 gas station with a general store.
It is a very small town with some motels and a few restaurants, I'd recommend Bryce Canyon City or Mt Carmel Junction.
The bed and breakfast fit our travel needs. Visited Bryce Canyon off season and a lot of the area is closed for the season. Tropic was an easy drive to the park.
You let yourself in to the building and the rooms have coded locks. There is a coffee bar with yogurt and soda in the kitchen area. I used the free washer and dryer. The owner came in the morning to make breakfast. 7-up pancakes with homemade jam and syrup. 😋 We enjoyed socializing with the owner and other travelers during breakfast.
My family loved this two bedroom cabin. It’s clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside as well, beautiful view. You can see sunrise from the porch. Every evening, there are five horses and a cute donkey eating grasses nearby. The town is small but has good food. We recommend breakfast at Rustler’s restaurant. We also liked Showdowns and RDK. People there are very nice. And it’s a short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. We would definitely stay at the same place if we visit Bryce Canyon again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bryce Trails B&B! Located about 20 minutes outside of Bryce Canyon Park, it was a quiet place, away from the touristy feel of the closer hotels. Beautiful views, quiet location, very friendly hosts, and delicious breakfasts, sitting with other guests and sharing National Park stories! We loved our first floor room with its patio where we could watch the sunset over Bryce and see the deer walk by!
Overall great experience. If you want to explore staying in an independent cabin near bryce, this is the place. The cabins are pretty big, neat and clean. All the required basic amenities are sufficiently present. The heating/cooling/insulation was working great. Even though it was around -4C outside, we did not feel anything inside.
Amazing bnb! The owners are so friendly and helpful! Everything was really easy with them.
The room is huge, clean and perfect! The breakfast was cooked by the owner and really tasty! It is really closed to the bryce canyon. We recommend this hotel.
We loved the little cabins we stayed in. They were clean and comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our trip to Bryce Canyon. They even smelled like cabins! We wished we could have stayed another night. We will definitely stay there again.
Nice, quiet little cabin not too far from Bryce Canyon National Park. It was nice having a designated parking spot for our car. Considering how close Tropic is to Bryce Canyon, the cabin's nightly rate was extremely reasonable and worth it.
Location was quiet and had beautiful scenery all around, so it felt remote, yet was conveniently close to amenities in Tropic and a short drive to Bryce Canyon. The on-site restaurant, the Stone Canyon Grill was quite good for dinner.
Very close to Bryce Canyon National Park & Kodachrome Basin State park. has a nice restaurant on the property with live music. Also there’s a gift shop at the office when you check in. very close to a gas station and other restaurants.
Great location in Tropic. Highly recommendable for those who want to be close to Bryce Canyon and enjoy a relaxed, private atmosphere. Great breakfast included. A great stay on our trip to the National Parks!
We stayed here in Tropic for our 2-day visit to Bryce Canyon. Tropic is a small town with restaurants that are close to the location of the house. It was a great place to stay for our family of 5!
The location of Tropic was good for visiting Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed Showdowns for dinner, gas and ice for our cooler was right down the street as well as a great BBQ place.
Location was ideal for Bryce Canyon and other canyons. Tropic was great. House was spacious, well equipped, washing machine and drier great. Price was good.
