Really loved the place. Very safe, clean, great shower, airconditioning, and bed was awesome. Tshepo (hopefully I spelled your name correct) was very sweet and helpful to us. Graskop is a small town and has a couple of nice restaurants we went to. Has a small grocery store for supplies and was central for us to see all the sites we had on our list. It was also quiet where we stayedand the weather was nice and cool when we were there in March.

Graskop town and Pilgrims Rest town are rundown which is sad.
There are potholes everywhere which makes driving difficult
There needs to be street lines painted and cat eyes installed onto the roads as you come into Graskop from Hazyview. The fog and early evening driving makes it difficult to see and dangerous.
Gods Window, the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes are just spectacular and made the trip worth while.

The view is why you go.
The view is why you go. The apparment was medium size with a lovely view over the pool and mountain range. Due to loadshedding that evening we had no electricity, and the establishment did not make provision for that for us. Luckily the restaurant manager borrowed us a light which we returned the next morning. The food was delicious. Would be great if they would serve breakfast as well. But let me tell you, this place is worth the drive, the view is to die for and staff were very friendly and helpful.

My absolute favourite spot is Mac mac pools, that is the coolest natural pool to swim in. Visited three rondavels, Graskop Gorge lift, God's window Mac Mac falls and Lisbon fall. All these places are worth a visit however you must be prepared to drive. Graskop should be named the jewel of Mpumalanga.

Beautiful spot with lots of little restaurants and craft shops to check out. People are very friendly. The views are amazing! For incredible views, wine and pizzas, check out 'Divine Foods at the View' but make sure to book to avoid disappointment. There are short little hikes. We did Jock of the Bushveld and that was cool. There are other shorter hikes between Graskop and Sabie that we did not go to. It was a charming little town.
Hotel was fairly new, which was nice. Room was spacious enough for us. Bathroom was good too.
Generator is present, so during load shedding we still had lights.
Breakfast was good, some choice between different platters, our choices were tasty and sufficient in quantity. Also ate one evening in the hotel, which was very good.
Just across the hotel, there is a nice restaurant where you can have braai. So very nice to just walk across the street.
Location is perfect, at the start of the Panorama Route. Great!
Nazeem was great. He made us feel welcome. The chalet was beautiful and very functional. Everything you need inside. He even advised us on how to plan our routes. There's also a poster with areas of interest in and around Graskop. His chalets have a toilet, shower, bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, a fridge, microwave oven, a TV, free Wi-Fi etc. Truth is, you get way more than what you pay for. I definitely recommend Horizon view chalets... Nazeem is the guy in charge. He's very kind and informative.
We stayed there one night on our way to Kruger National Park. The host was friendly and we felt very welcome. The unit was spacious and clean.
The main feature is that it is close to almost all the major attractions on the panorama route. We also visited the Graskop lift which was an amazing experience. I would say do not miss this at all (as well as all the other natural wonders). You can explore them all from Thaba Tsweni since it was so close.
I wished we could stay another night.
There were electric blankets and heaters in the bedrooms. There was also another heater in thr bathroom and a fireplace in the sitting room. They provided firewood for the fireplace. The kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed.
The host was friendly and quick to respond. They gave us a map of the area and places to lookout for nearby. The place is so tranquil and 4 mins away from graskop town, which is near many tourist places.
Place was clean and very comfortable, friendly staff. The location was very central to all the attractions, Graskop Gorge, God's window, lisbon falls, Berlin falls. Bourkes luck potholes, Blyde river canyon, 3 Rondawels. We visited Pilgrims Rest on our way out of Graskop. Harry's pancakes was lovely. We took walks at night, that's how safe it is in Graskop. We enjoyed our swim at the accommodation pool.
I can just confirm what everybody else is saying: the place is the best option in Graskop, the owners are super friendly and helpful, the location is great and the room is surrounded by a calm and relaxing garden which will make your staying just perfect. Thanks for the lovely hospitality!
(Ps: go for the full breakfast option, trust me)
Clean and well maintained accommodation. Well furnished and stocked for self catering. In very close proximity to some good restaurants and a spar supermarket if shopping for supplies. Very good base for exploring the panorama route and surrounds and also perfect if you just want to to unwind in the quiet setting.
The cleanliness of the room and the whole place. It was close to the restaurant at panorama, the gorge lift co and spa for shopping, the pool was clean. The service was very very good with free wifi. We enjoyed our stay. Martie was very very welcoming and very friendly.
By far the greatest experience of our lives, the food the service and the hotel, wonderful people and a wonderful stay so greatful that we got to stay here, the food is amazing the view is out of this world, and the people are so kind
Location is perfect if you are looking to spend he day at the Graskop Gorge, it is also convenient and within a few km's drive to the God's window, the different falls and a small town near-by for groceries and restaurants.
Very comfy beds, the owners were very friendly. There was a list of restaurants to visit in Graskop. Outside of the accommodation there's a table where one can sit. The kitchen was very spacious, as well was the bathroom.
VERY CLEAN!! Amazing front desk service. The place is conveniently located around many shops, restaurants and scenic sites in Graskop! Would most definitely stay there again. Highly recommend
We stayed in Graskop hotel on the way to Kruger.
Felt very safe, rooms were basic but nice and warm.
Edurad from the reception was nice and informative! Really helped us plan our day.
Awesome decorations in the room and all common areas. We felt like staying in the museum palace. Amazing hotel, definitely the best among all we had in South Africa
I liked the fact that it's near the Graskop Gorge and Big Swing and Zipline.
I liked that they were prepared for loadshedding by supplying the portable light.
This is the best hotel near the panorama route. Expansive views, our room was charming and romantic. The foods at the hotel restaurant was also delicious!
