For such a small town in the alps, there was quite a lot going on in Niederau. There are several bars and restaurants, as well as a couple of supermarkets and to ski pistes, which are unfortunately not connected, but there is a bus between the two.

Also there is great summer swimming pool close to Niederau which is absolutely fantastic for small but also for adult with heated water. Room was simple and with very good value for money - exactly what we were looking for, just to sleep, eat there and rest of time be somewhere on trip.JanCzech Republic

I arrived very late in the evening initially and they ensured check in was easy as well as offering me food even though the evening meal had finished. The cleaning staff also did a very good job. There is a ski room and boot locker underneath the hotel, as well as a sauna. As the ski lifts were open you can ski from anywhere in the Niederau area to the door of the hotel.

Even though we made a last minute booking and arrived late at the hotel, the owner was so kind enough to offer us a delicious dinner (almost at closing time of the restaurant), as we arrived from a very long drive and we were exhausted.
