We went to meet people who live there and only attended a wedding one day, drove to centre to eat on another day, didn’t walk around the hotel area so can’t say much to that. Have to say that the service at restaurante Os Galitos is awful, my family went there two days in a row as couldn’t find anything else open, the second day ordered salted cod but it was inedible, far too salty. A lady on the next table couldn’t eat her food as her salmon was too salty, when we said we couldn't eat it they called the manager who immediately threatened to call the police and kept telling my mother to shut her mouth. No one said we wouldn’t pay, just that we couldn’t eat it and wanted something else as we were hungry! Avoid this place!SimoneUnited Kingdom

Central, quite, clean; a house full of interest to walk around and with beautiful gardens surrounding the property. D. Emilia Teles was very kind, and a pleasure to talk with. The breakfast was rich and plentiful, everything very tasty and fresh, served in quietness and isolation, all health safe measures ensured. I will for sure return anytime I'll need to visit Mangualde.
