Location was great for our team as it was right next door to the office. Also right opposite train station so great for traveling. Only issue was that at breakfast i didnt realise until end of week you could have ordered omelettes.

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century.

Hot buffet breakfast and nice apple hot tea upon our arrival check in. Exit hotel door to nearest train station Schaffhausen to Zurich will be a breeze with our large luggages instead of the front desk recommended front door entrance. Efficient front desk to direct our walking stores in neighbouring shopping district and William Tell statue

Easy access just a bit complex with all the email exchange. It would have been easier if the guidelines were shorter and didn't require me to provide my email address.

Great town: beautiful old city. Great region. Top attractions are the Rheine Falls, Stein am Rhein, but a not long train trip takes you to the german city of Konstanz. You can get boat trips on Lake Konstanz.

Very nice hotel with just 8 rooms, so well maintained. Staff were exceptional and everything about the room was great. Location is perfect for walking the old town and along the river. Super close to the rail/bus station with easy access to northern Switzerland and into Germany. Several grocery stores (Co-op's) within a few minutes walk. Nice restaurants and shopping. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fun and the food was great, too. Would stay her again.

Even without visiting some of the attractions (IWC Museum, Museum Allerheiligen), Schaffhausen is worth the stay. The sceneries from the Munot and of the Rheinfall are magnificent. The old town is worth a walk with a lot of possibilities for shopping (even if you do only "window shopping").

Schaffhausen is a charming and beautiful historic town located on the banks of the river Rhine. Wonderful for relaxing and wandering the cobbled streets or along the river taking in the nearby Rheinfall waterfall at Neuhausen.

The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular.
The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular. For the kids Smilestones is Switzerland in miniature and is housed in an air conditioned building next to the falls. Nearby Stein am Rhein's colourful and historic old town is brilliant but so expensive!

Was only in town for one night!
Was only in town for one night! Sadly it rained day of arrival and day of departure!! Did not know about the music festival. Accommodation was heavily booked. I missed the waterfall, received poor directions and also did not see any signs. Nice town overall. Would return!
Staff were excellent, rooms large. After checking out I received a call from the hotel advising that I had left a sweater behind in the closet. I was too far away to retrieve it so Elena at the front desk mailed it to my hotel at my next destination- she even phoned the hotel to advise it would be coming! When arrived at my new hotel, it was waiting for me!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was definitely one of the best we had on our trip. The room was pretty incredible…huge main room with a huge bathroom and a little breakfast nook. and made you feel like you were in a castle. I had looked at other castle-hotels but this was the only one that was "castley" inside as well as outside.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The location is right in the old city center, next to a beautiful old church. Parking is right in front, and the hotel provides free parking vouchers until the following day. The staff was friendly and had no problem speaking English with us.
Modern hotel with well appointed, spacious room with large comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was of a very high standard with plenty of choice. Car parking in public underground car park but right next to the hotel. A very short walk into the old town which has a good choice of eating places and hostelries.
I loved the hotel architecture (old combined with modern), beautiful style, the receptionist was very understanding when we arrived late and she organized for us a key in a lock outside. The breakfast was decent as well. Can only recommend and will chose again when we return to Schaffhausen.
The whole staff and especially the manager are top notch. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are huge for it's location, and the price is extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend this hotel and I'm looking forward to be a guest there soon again!
Magnificent (huge) rooms and bathrooms, olde worlde building. Great breakfast served at the table. Excellent friendly staff throughout our stay. Appeared (upon arrival) to be a bit out-of-the-way, but in fact is only a short walk over the rail bridge to the main town of Schaffhausen.
The hotel is on the edge of the older part of the town, and it was easy to explore the area on foot and find restaurants and cafes. The hotel is also conveniently located for dropping off luggage by car with nearby secure parking arranged through the hotel
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kronenhof. Excellent Buffet breakfast. Clean and comfortable double room with ensuite. Walking distance from train station and ferry port. Right in centre of Old Town. Definately recommended for fellow travellers.
Apartment is spacious. Very clean. All furniture are on good condition. Located in quite area and within short distance from bus stop.
Very recommended and surely will comeback again next time visit Schaffhausen
Location is very convenient and ideal to visit Schaffhausen. Lots of nice shops and restaurants / bars nearby. Last but not least, view on the Rhine.
The hostel hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
The room was as described, well-equipped and clean. The hotel staff was very enthusiastic, took us to the room in person, and introduced the situation, thank you very much!
Great location, very clean hotel with helpful staff. Room and bathroom were both large with plenty of space for luggage and travel kit. Included breakfast was very good.
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was really friendly and willing to help all the time. The hotel is just few steps to the Schaffhausen city center.
