Lovely place to stay.
Superb room and ideal location with free parking, which wouldn’t have been easy to locate but the hotel gave excellent instructions without being asked.
Definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Breakfast was good for my taste. Oat meal and cereals with yoghurt and fresh fruit, boiled eggs offered, crispy croissants (with and without chocolat), toast, and good coffee from the French press (or tea if preferred). Fresh orange juice. The young lady taking care of the breakfast buffet was very friendly - and the only staff I encountered during my stay. Automatic check-in was anyway easy. Check-out just by closing the door, leaving the keys inside.
The location could have been a little closer to Abingdon, but a 10-15 min walk gets one right to the Thames (beautiful!) and the city centre with pubs and restaurants. Could be an issue with bad weather and no car. Walk in the dark at night. In my case, it was very pleasant.

Location was ok. Glad we found it in the daylight though!
It was clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped. TV great. Thank you!
With a peaceful, rural location, just 20 minutes from the historic university city of Oxford and just 10 minutes from Abingdon, the hotel is rich in original character and dates to the 19th Century.

We'd just missed the farmers market on Friday which was a pity. Science convention in the square on Saturday. A real hive of activity. Lots of lovely historical buildings and the Abbey gardens were lovely even on a wet march day.

We live in Leeds so the trip to Abingdon is one of our favourites .A small market town with lots of places to eat and lovely Oxfordshire countryside and wildlife. Nearby Bletchley Park is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of places to walk in Abingdon and lots of history to discover. Oxford is only a bus ride away and they are very regular .Would never drive there.

Check there is not a party or wedding reception the night you are staying. The restaurant, bar and lounge are unavailable and the music goes on until midnight. Not inform of the lack of facilities before or on arrival. Received standard email with restaurant and bar opening times the day before we were due to check in.
I loved absolutely everything. The staff are so friendly and always helpful when you check-in and check-out and around the hotel. The room was absolutely superb, with a wonderful king sized bed, spacious and separate bathroom with a bath included (bonus). The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Abingdon, perfect for walks along the river, close proximity to my work's office and plenty of places to eat in the evenings. I highly recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dinckley Court. It’s a beautiful property located as it is alongside the River Thames and the perfect spot for visiting Oxford and other nearby parts of Oxfordshire. There are many great options for eating nearby. We received a very warm welcome from Annette and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely stay at Dinckley Court again!
Good location for central Abingdon. Polite staff but room 1 above pub with music and noise until after midnight, so woken up when kicking out time. No tea and coffee facilities in room, but there was juice and water in fridge on the landing. Room very recently upgraded so it was comfortable and modern in an old creaky floorboards building. Felt it was expensive with no cooked breakfast.
Very handy location for us as family live in Steventon. Stayed in the accommodation that is situated off the courtyard / beer garden with your own front door. Bus stop to Abingdon and Oxford very short walk and also a coop which was handy. Car park was right next to accommodation as well so overall really handy for getting bags in. The beds were very comfortable and we would book again.
We have stayed before as we have family in Abingdon. Fantastic hotel with a great energy, light, bright and feels safe for the whole family.
We were lucky to have amazing weather and Jamie who served us in your bar was great very attentive and courteous - thank you
Second time we have stayed at Dinckley Court.
Lovely accommodation.
Annette the host is great and very helpful.
Great spot for visiting Abingdon and Oxford.
The view of the river from the bottom of the garden is fantastic.
Visit you won't be disappointed.
The location perfect for my purpose of attending a wedding at Jesus Chapel Oxford and for the closeness of the reception held at Kingston Bagpuize House. The breakfast was a choice of 3 servings and you cannot do any better!!
Perfect room, well equipped, kettle tea and coffee and hot chocolate, Perfect location for walking dogs and into Abingdon. Beautiful surroundings and colourful flowers in the Courtyard. We would definitely recommend.
A most gorgeous studio unit in a lovely village close to Abingdon. The unit is very well equipped, comfortable and modern . We well and truly had everything we needed. Very friendly accommodating hosts and a lovely cat.
The flat was centrally located in Abingdon not to far from a store for supplies and close to the Thames for going on nice walks along the river. The atmosphere is very cosy and the welcome basket was a very nice touch.
Beautiful building, in a fantastic location, with interesting converted outbuildings in the historical part of Abingdon and with terrace and grounds bordering the river Thames.
