Where we stayed it was within easy reach of a lovely walk a long the front by the Mersey going all the way to New Brighton. It's about 2.5 miles but on a summer's evening well worth doing as there is plenty of entertainment and restaurants in New Brighton. It provides a great base to explore Liverpool and Chester.

A quiet area and a bit neglected but some beautiful architecture and some good places to visit. We enjoyed an open mic night at THE SWINGING ARM, a meal at the lovely vegan eatery JORO, and the Woodside Village stalls at the weekend. We also visited Birkenhead Park which inspired Central Park New York but found it rather shabby.

The market used to be quite good but not now, not many stalls open which is understandable with the way things are with the virus. Quite a few shops closed now in the town centre. Apartment was couple of miles away and nothing around it.

We were given a guided tour of the old Town Hall, which is splendidly Victorian. Birkenhead Park is very pleasant for a walk around and there's a decent cafe too. It was the inspiration for Central Park in New York and the first public Park in the world - keep the masses healthy and they'll work harder!
Very friendly owners, helpful and welcoming.
Good breakfast. Good temperature in the room (you can make it warm in winter, which I always struggle with).
Comfortable mattress!
The hotel is located next to the ferry, but the ferry doesn't do commute on weekends or early mornings. Ask the owners for the info on how to use the ferry on weekends and not pay the full tour price. There's other public transport available, but as I was driving, I didn't need it.
Car park is available behind the hotel, which is really helpful.
This is easy to find, very close to a Sainsbury's and whilst it's slightly further from our training venue than I thought, it was worth that tiny error on my part!
The house was immaculate, it has everything you need. The comms were efficient, informative and friendly.
We are 3 friends attending an emergency services training weekend, so this was a better facility than a hotel - we could cook, study and natter :-)
- nice pubs around
- very spacious apartment, three separate rooms
- clean and pretty, had everything we needed
- bakery and convenience stores nearby
- good connection to everything, busses to move around Wirral (go to New Brighton and walk around the beach there) and subway to go to Liverpool
Hosts were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb. Perfect location for Liverpool or the ferry. Parking was great. Room had fridge, tea/coffee facilities with complimentary tray bakes, tv had smart options for viewing. Fantastic en-suite. Everything very clean and spotless.
Phil was very friendly, amenable and accommodating. He was also a big help with public transport information when we were working out our options for heading over to Liverpool and back.
Our accommodation was as advertised and most importantly for us was clean with good parking facilities.
Dave the manager And staff were so informative and helpful, breakfast was great, bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean, great view over to Liverpool, hence the hotels name the liver view, and seacombe mersey ferry two minutes from hotel.
Very genuine & friendly proprietor & supportive staff. Good breakfast. Room very clean & comfortable with lovely view of Liverpool. Very convenient location to visit Liverpool & the Wirral.
Very good location, especially for the Mersey and Irish ferries.
Very welcoming. Room was ready when we arrived. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked.
It was ideal for all our needs. Train station to Liverpool only 5 mins away. Any problems, there was always someone at the end of the telephone to help.
Would recommend it Fürther.
Great Breakfast, Extremely Comfortable Bed. A fabulous hotel in a great location and super friendly welcome. A real gem of a hotel, I'll certainly stay here again
it was such a. nice little house with all the needed items. the bathroom was immaculate and better than a hotel. The rooms were tidy and the sheets were clean.
Modern, clean, spacious, close to Birkenhead tunnel and close to shops, takeaways and restaurants. Owners maintained excellent communication throughout.
