Low cost although this reflected the slightly olde worlde/basic style of the pub and the fact that bathroom/toilet facilities were shared. Friendly and helpful landlady and bar staff. Proper community pub - no frills, just local people enjoying themselves. Good local beers. Comfortable bed.

Quiet, very pretty location just off A19. Clean and comfortable. Enough pubs and eateries to ensure no cooking for a few days. Nice chippy, Strawberry Fields biker cafe and White Swan pub within a couple of minutes drive. Good cooking facilities in the kitchen if you wish to cook. Large lounge with TV and large dining room. Would be excellent for a large family get together

The location was ideal, the property provided spacious accommodation for the size of our party (seven adults + two children). The village of Cawood is reasonably compact and within easy walking distance of the property. There are a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes providing a good range of food outlets.
There a range of walks in the surrounding area which provide interest and exercise.
