We booked the Hampton by Hilton for location as it’s 10 minutes drive from Buckinghamshire new university, or 40 minute walk,
The Eden shopping centre is 5 minutes in the car with plenty of cafes ,shops and cinema and games arcade and bowling arcade,
There are more shops and pubs outside the shopping centre where there is a Wetherspoons pub and a few other pubs and clubs
Lots to do in the area, would definitely recommend for university moving in weekend.

It was a lovely little town that felt almost sea side like. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and there were some really great food and drink options. A day trip to Marlow was also great, as was the park with the National Trust house. We only stayed a couple of days but could have stayed longer to explore further.

If you have a visit to London and you don’t want to pay high Hotel Prices then High Wycombe is a good place to stop
Roughly 30 mins from Wembley stadium on train and 10 mins walk from station to venue

High Wycombe has one redeeming feature, you get to leave it. Luckily the Hamptom is at the top of the hill and has a great Waitrose next to it, far away from the town centre. Living local (ish) Wycombe has always been a hell hole.

We visited Bekonscot model village, just a 20 minute drive away and Hughenden House also about 20 minutes away. We did not see much of High Wycombe but he location was convenient for visiting the two sites

I have travelled with a friend for 2 days and we have spent a half day with kids in the beautiful Rye park , visited the National Trust and ventured out to Windsor the following day. Overall a pleasant stay in a sunny weather, however a car is absolutely necessary.
Poor restaurant choice in the town as well.
The single bed mattress was comfortable. The duvet provided a suitable sleeping temperature and the bed linen was white, fresh and clean, as was the bath towel. The actual location of the rooms were further along the West Wycombe Road towards town, away from the Buckingham Hotel reception, otherwise known as Contractors Guest House. There was a small kettle with tea bags, dried coffee, sugar and little cartons of cows' milk (prefer plant-based). A double lock on my room door gave me an added feeling of security.
The hotel seemed new, freshly decorated and very clean. The TV was HUGE as was the bed, the latter was very comfortable. The location was perfect for accessing major roads, yet was very quiet. The lifts were really fast and quiet. The staff were welcoming and patient. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Very good shower and plentiful, large towels.
We booked the hotel to attend a wedding (our own!) nearby.
Though we didnt mention this, we still found staff incredibly attentive and helpful, and the hotel itself was really clean and rooms really nice, a very modern feel which i wasnt really expecting.
The hotel really added to our weekend so thank you!
Very pleasant Hotel on entering the building, The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Room was comfortable. Had a good night sleep and breakfast was great. A little tip don't book breakfast online you will be offered a cheaper rate when you book in.
We chose this hotel to stay at as we were attending the England game. The location is ideal to get to Wembley as it’s only a half hour train journey, train station is a five minute walk. Parking included and breakfast was fantastic. Staff are friendly and the bed was comfy.
It was a really nice property- close to High Wycombe. Parking was easy and the homeowner was lovely and very attentive when needed. The space looked newly done - it was attached to the main house but felt private as the entrance was as around the corner.
Location was great - near the M40 High Wycombe junction so easy access to motorway.
Price was good - I paid £39 for a single room for the night.
The chap who answered the door was friendly.
The bedding and towels were clean and fresh.
It wasn’t the Wendover Arms Hotel as they sent me off to the Buckingham hotel!!? It turned out to be comfortable and good value, but you should have been advised of my change of hotel.
There was really nothing that stood out as a positive. The basic amenities and cleanliness felt on par with a much cheaper budget hotel option like Travelodge.
