Quiet as expected this time of year (February).

Quiet as expected this time of year (February). There were however plenty of tea shops and restaurantes. We enjoyed lovely cakes in Naughty but NIce and great burgers in Rock Bottom. The town is quite hilly so not great if have any mobility issues and want to travel without a car.

Lovely seaside town, very compact so everything is walkable. The beach is nice although it seems to be mostly covered at high tide. Lots of places to eat although three were closed for January/February but still lots of choice. We went to a show at the Pavilions - can highly recommend!

Loverly me Dears... I have to disclose that I'm biased.

Loverly me Dears... I have to disclose that I'm biased. I grew up there and like to return to see my old stomping ground. Must go down Teign Street for lively friendly real ale pubs. Weatherspoons or SPOONS as we calls it is cheap and an easy stagger from the train station, great for a pub crawl or STAG do. Ask for DENNIS TAXI DRIVER. he won't rip you off like others. If they don't have a DEBENSHIRE ACCENT don't get that taxi.!

Teignmouth is often called the gem of South Devon and even in December it looks beautiful. There's three local beaches, a (limited) pier and plenty of coastal walks and sea activities to do. It's a friendly place where everyone seems to have a dog or two. And a short walk over the bridge brings added bonus of Shaldon with its own unique character, pubs and views. The place is a heaven for train lovers too.

Teignmouth is a stunning little town.

Teignmouth is a stunning little town. A bit shabby in parts but has all the charm of an English seaside town. Not tacky either. Beautiful Sandy beach. Great walking opportunities. We bought our dog with us & he loved it. Nice pubs for food. Few art galleries that were good.

Perfect little flat for a short stay in Teignmouth - we squeezed 3 adults in just fine for one night, or would be perfect for a couple with a child. The flat was beautiful and so homey, with teabags, milk, shampoo - Karen went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! We know Teignmouth very well, and this location right by the Arts Quarter is wonderful, just a short walk from both beaches and all of Teignmouth's great pubs and cafes.

Good communication with the host, the keys were easily accessible via a lockbox. The cottage is perfectly located in the centre of Teignmouth, opposite the train station and 5 min walk from a big supermarket. The cottage itself was warm, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, bedding and towels. We were provided with tea bags, coffee sachets and milk upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable.

The staff at Cliffden Hotel were all so friendly and helpful. It feels so welcoming and homely. I love the location being a few minutes away from the sea and just up the road from the town. There's also a bus that you can catch just outside the hotel. I have stayed many times over the past years and will keep coming back. I couldn't manage to walk around the garden this time, but it's so lovely with the little lake.

Sandy the proprietor met us and gave a warm welcome. The room was very clean, comfortable and with a sea view. The breakfast was amazing, so well cooked and quick to come out. We loved our walks along the seafront before breakfast and again in the evening. Parking at the front was fine, we were able to park from 6pm until 9am free each evening. We will definitely be staying again.

Really central location. Loved the view to the town from the balconies, especially as it was the Teignmouth Carnival and we got a great view of the floats! Perfect property for our family of three and a dog, who also enjoyed looking out of the windows. Property had everything we needed and the car park was a very short walk away and was reasonably priced.

The fishermen's house was less than a 5min walk from Teignmouth old town centre and a 5 to 10 min walk to the beach. The town has a good selection of traditional shops, pubs, food serving establishments traditional to an English seaside town.
