The location is amazing. Reading reviews we were expecting a filthy hovel and unhelpful staff. But actually the volunteers were lovely and it was pretty clean. It is as you'd expect for a hostel. Good and cheap bar too.

The view was amazing. The most excellent part was - there were no surrounding neighborhood - just you and the mountains! The property is really good - we were there during the rather cold period but it wasn't a problem - the chalet has well operated heating system. There is a really nice well kept garden with lemon and avocado trees, palms... .

The house was gorgeous, great views, spotless, lots of room, comfy sitting room, really well equipped kitchen. Terrace was a great spot for coffee and breakfast, gets the sun all day.
Also, Fina the owner was incredibly helpful when we got ourselves into a car-related pickle. She helped us call our car company and get it all sorted in less than 24 hours. Life saver!

Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

The hotel is in a superb location for hikers as it is...
The hotel is in a superb location for hikers as it is positioned at the intersection of many of the best walks on Gran Canaria . The building faces west and looks over the mountain tops, which gives a stunning view, especially when the sun is setting. All the bedrooms also face roughly ina westerly direction so there is no fear of missing out when reserving your stay, however the winds were very strong when we stayed there in January so not really possible to use the balcony.Tea and coffee making facilities not available, would have appreciated a welcome drink or a cup of tea on arrival and air conditioning/heating unit didn't appear to work despite the appearance of a new control unit. If you are not interested in hiking there isn't any other nearby activities, however, it is still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A very pretty little town/village with a modest selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. You'll need to eat fairly early in the evening though as most places seemed to be closed by 8pm (in April). A great base from which to access the superb hiking trails in the area.

Pay attention at the evening restaurants. Some are indicated as open, but if the owner doesn’t feel like to open he won’t…. So you might spend some time to get food. I recommend to go at the bakery dulceria de Tejeda. Great pastries 😄

I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect.
I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect. I did the long walk around Roque Nublo. Itinerary no 2 from the tourist information. Scenery in the area is superb. Strangely bars and restaurants seem to close early, possibly because the town seems to cater for day trippers.

It has a covered terrace with good views next to the living room and an open rooftop terrace with great mountain views in all directions. The house is well equipped and would also be suitable for a long-time stay. Wi-Fi was very fast (300 Mbps) and stable. Friendly check-in by the mother of the host. Tejeda is busy with visitors during daytime. In the evening, it is very quiet and the restaurants close early.

Amazing views from the property. There is a park just outside the property with amazing views for the sunset each day, so don't worry if the upstairs apartment with a balcony isn't available, you can just go and sit in the park instead! It is walking distance from the city center of the beautiful city of Tejeda and (car) close to starts of some nice trails. The terrace is beautiful, however we've been here in January when it was quite cold and windy so we didn't had the chance to enjoy it. Free parking in front of the house. Self check-in was very convenient.

You can see the highest mountain in Tenerife from the terrace. The sunset is really beautiful here. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Great chill out here. During our stay we met guys from different countries and could try their favourite vegetarian dinner. Beautiful quiet place!

Alicia and Antonio are amazing, the place is perfection, so authentic and so close to everything in tejeda. If you are planning to do the Roque Nublo hike it’s around 20min with the car, so good location for that too! The apartment looks like a small house, it’s full of character and has everything. I’m so happy with my stay :)

It was beautifully located, there were terraces all around so we could enjoy the amazing mountains that surrounded us and the rooms were incredibly tidy and clean. Our host Carmello welcomed us with open arms and was always positive and available when questions had to be answered. We definitely recommand this little pearl!
