Super location for the beach club nearby. Very safe, cute little town. Good restaurants nearby and most at very reasonable prices. We travelled off-season but pool still open (unheated) which is good (we didn’t dare dip in!) Staff are very friendly and it’s so clear they want you to enjoy your stay.

I have to squeeze inside the shower. I cannot wash my back or legs because I couldn't, it was extremely tiny.
The breakfast is waste of time and money.

The main thing going for Congo Palace is its location. It is close to the sea and various coffee shops etc. Staff are pleasant, although not particularly enthusiastic. Ordered room service and the food was good.
