Everything... starting with excellent breakfast, beautiful beaches, calm surroundings, fantastic food at restaurant. Room was confortable, and the hotel overall very cosy. Nice natural shade at the hotel garden two steps away from the beach. And finaly staff - absolutelly friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Top recommendation.

We stayed there for three nights and had the most amazing time! Ivan is extremely welcoming and hospitable and we had a lot of fun. He was very helpful and let us try some local products.
The rooms are clean and nice and the view is absolutely gorgeous. There is a tiny town with a shop and a ferry port which can take you to Rab. It was very meditative to watch the ferry dock and leave about once an hour. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to relax!

Location is fantastic - it's right there on the coast with an open private garden overlooking the beach (5 steps from the beach literally). There's chairs and tanning beds in the garden which you can use free of charge. Our hosts also made us coffee every day and brought us fresh figs from their garden. Two houses down is a small store with fresh pastries and everything else you may need. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance (< 200m). The prices are very reasonable. Taxi-boat station is less then 5 minutes walk - it costs 3E per person to get to the city (~6 nautical miles, 35 minutes ride).
The property is very clean, hosts are very welcoming and polite and the view from apartment terrace is stunning.
Car is basically a must if you want to see all the best beaches on the island and chartering a boat is highly recommended (boat permit is required).
Surrounded by a beautiful garden and aged pine trees, Apartments Culjak is just 250 metres from Barbat’s beach.

We went with two dogs. They felt themselves awesome in the balkony, under the parasol or in the bedroom with a super cool aircondition. Nothing was broken or not operating. We got everything is written in the description, and more....We spent a nice week here. For this price is 10/10. Thanks again Vesna!

A place with a dark past (look it up on Wikipedia, and don't forget your donations to them), and never having recovered fully after Jugoslavia splitting up, it is now a welcome point of refuge from the more crowded coastal spots. Hiking and swimming are the best options for spending a few relaxing days.
