We very much enjoyed the beds. We slept very comfortably, the rooms are cool which also makes it easy sleep. The best breakfast. Didn’t like the fact of lack of lighting, and tv single kept going out.

The main reason for our trip to Dallas was to tour the book depository, grassy knoll and all other things related to the JFK assassination. We booked an excellent Viator tour. In addition we went to the George W. Bush library which was interesting and educational, and the arboretum which is even better than the Missouri Botanical garden where I live in St. Louis.

Great property, great provisions and model/clean facilities - spectacular views from the room (49th floor).
My only wish would have been more info on local grocery shopping & restaurants within walking distance. The in-building restaurants had business lunch hours... Plus - the room sitting area had very uncomfortable chairs/sofa.

We were here for the total eclipse and JFK museum. Both were fabulous!
Weather cooperated and our viewing of eclipse was unbelievable. Don't miss 6th Floor JFK Museum and Dealy Plaza. Transportation on tram system was very convenient and affordable. Flew into Love Field which is closer to uptown and downtown events. Notable restaurants; El Fenix for Tex-Mex... Black Tap for burgers.

It excedeed my expectations. Lots of places to visit.
It excedeed my expectations. Lots of places to visit. We needed extra time. Geo-deck, Ross Perot Museum, the Zoo, where we watched the eclipse, original reason to go to Dallas. The Holocaust Museum. And the iFly experience, an in-doors skidiving, was one of the best experiences in my life. You need a car most of the time, Uber was an excellent choice, very efficient.

My friend and I flew in for the great 2024 Eclipse event and while that was the main focus of our trip, we did get around and explore what the city had to offer. We took DART in from Bachman station which conveniently runs through the heart of downtown. Attractions we visited were Dealy Plaza, Perot Science Center, and the Dallas Museum of Art.
If you are into historic trolleys, hop on the historic M-Line. You can hop on at Cityplace/Uptown, Saint Paul, or Pearl/Arts District station. It's a donations-based fare system, but well worth dropping a few $$$ in the farebox to keep them going.
This property was overall perfect for us as just arrived in from a long haul flight. There was a very well priced coffee shop which sold sandwiches and snacks also, a bar and restaurant all on site so everything we needed to hand. The location of the hotel is excellent being right on top of Downtown Dallas which is easily covered on foot. Our room was clean and spacious and serviced each day of our 3 day stop and had a great view of Dallas. The gym facilities were excellent, offering lots of choice. The hotel also had local parking available.
Extremely convenient to Love Field. Spacious, comfortable and quiet rooms with full kitchen, comfy bed, and soft linens. Wonderful complimentary shuttle service around the area. We used the shuttle to get to the DART station where we were able to travel downtown by train. There is a little shop in the lobby with snacks, drinks, and complimentary coffee and condiments, etc. Very nice pool and separate grill area for use by hotel guests. Pretty much everything you could need for a home away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful!
This appears to have been a Residence Inn at some point. I give it an excellent rating with the understanding that it is not a 5 star luxury hotel. For what I wanted price wise and convenience wise, it was excellent. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and strong, housekeeping stayed away until I wanted them, breakfast was great, location was near my son who lives in medical district. I didn't use the cooking appliances but the big fridge was great for storing cold drinks and leftovers.
I loved everything especially the staff. The night manager seemed to be about 23 or 25 but was so kind. He upgrade to one of the best rooms in the hotel and sent water at midnight. Too. The room was like 2 rooms with a table and a sofa. There were 2 sets of french doors from the bedroom to the other area. Beautiful. Finally they only changes the same rate for all 3 nights. It was in a very interesting and safe area of Dallas. That manager I will never forget ever.
Great hotel and room. The staff was fantastic as well, super friendly and helpful. Great location to the airport and not too far from the Center of town. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is great because it is more in the business district so quiet. The hotel has on-site laundry and a fitness center which is great. I'll stay here again when I come to Dallas.
From the friendly staff to clean beds and room, La Quinta surprised me by exceeding my expectations. It was close enough to downtown and nearby attractions. Our bedroom smelled of fresh linen and the building was clean. Breakfast was offered in the morning. I'd say they have the best hotel coffee ever! Lol good job picking the right company to serve coffee.
The view from the room was very nice. You can see many of the downtown landmarks. Location is great too, walking distance from restaurants and museums. The room is decorated with beautiful original local art and the bed is very comfortable. Service in the hotel restaurants was always top notch.
It was close to downtown Dallas attractions. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good and the view from my room was amazing. I also liked that the hotel was in an old building which is fitting for a hotel in historic downtown.
The hotel is huge and has huge convention center. The rooms were clean and bed were very comfortable. The lobby is huge and has 24 cafe that has Starbucks coffee. The city view is amazing and one of a kind. The hotel is one of the best in Dallas
Great check-in bar with super friendly staff. Amazing place to stay when traveling alone. Extremely walkable, the hotel is right between Downtown Dallas and the Deep Ellum neighborhood.
