So many walks and trails to follow.
So many walks and trails to follow. So many mountains and estany's to explore. It is a beautifully peaceful place full of high mountain ridges to tempt you and many tranquil lakes to relax by. The creeks that carve through the valley's are beyond postcard picturesque. However, I recommend you do your research and have some idea on what trails to hike and distances/times. Walking aimlessly, as tempting as it is, can get you easily lost or disorientated, which was the case of a few we met, as many paths cross over. It is easy to think you are heading down the mountain when you are actually heading along a path to another 6 hour ridge pass.

Walked into Soldue for sking, also once walked to El Tarter for evening. There is a frequent bus if want to go further but we didn't use it. No problem with room plenty of warm water, no noise issues. Did not try the hotel restaurant.

In front of hotel you have a bus stop to take you to Soldeu lifts or down to Tarter lifts. Lots of parking space with lots of room on the street in front of the hotel, also option to park inside the hotel.
