It is a high rise, high density inner city accommodation area with all the problems you would expect.
The people we met however were lovely and friendly and the market held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday had some great produce.

I highly recommend the hotel.
I highly recommend the hotel. The hotel indicates there is an air conditioner but it does not work. The receptionist is told that the guy who operates air conditioners is not there and the air conditioner can not be turned on, but in the lobby and in the dining room the air conditioner works.
You may not be paying for a room with an air conditioner and you get a room with no air conditioner. Unable to sleep hot and sweating, in short horror.
Nothing. It was a horrific experience. Our flight arrived late in the night. We were forced to find another hotel at midnight. The bed was dirty and unmade. The towels in the drawer had blood stains. There were also mouse feces on the towels. There was not any toilet paper. No closet. No refrigerator in the "kitchen." It did not remotely match the Booking description. I have never experienced a similar situation.
The apartment has a good location and position. The access to the apartment from the train station is easy by public transport. Its position in the building is also good since it is located on the calm side of the building and on high floors (usually I don't choose the building on the ground floor and I don't know why booking.com does not ask the owners to mention the floor in their advertisements).
Everything was perfect, location isn’t in center but bus and metro in nearby, also some supermarkets and bakery. Pavani is careful and helpful person, she was connected always. Apart was warm, full equipped with nice kitchen and room and plants, hope they’re well. WiFi worked good. We had superjourney in Lyon and because of this accommodation too, merci beaucoup!
The place was big enough for our family, quiet and sparkling clean. The free parking was great because we wanted to use public transport to get around the city so we left the car in the parking during the whole stay. The communication with the hosts was great although it was weekend. Would certainly like to stay there again next time when we stop by Lyon.
Impossible to get access to property; wrong telephone nr in Booking.com messages; no help whatsoever !!!! thus stuck for 2 days before I could get access to my booked apartment !!!! IN addition: poor / no real assistance from Booking.com !!! (sending my message on to owner, while I state that owner does not reply... is not really helpful !!!
I had a very nice overnight stay in Lyon. Pascal was very accommodating and provided a plentiful and healthy dinner as well as a delicious breakfast. I especially appreciated that he and his friend took time to chat with me during the meals. Also, the location within walking distance of the Lyon Part Dieu station was ideal for me.
The location was superb: 10 minutes walk from the biggest park in France, 15 min from Rhône, and there were bus and tramp stops all within 5 min walking distance from the hotel. Staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, with everybody willing to help out. The room was cleaned daily as were the towels replaced regurarly.
A spacious room with lots of light and a great view. The flat was immaculate with all the amenities. Stephanie the host was warm and welcoming. Great value for money. The location itself isn't far from Lyon center with the metro and bus station being a 3-minute walk that gets you into the center within 15 minutes.
Very secure parking (locked gate) which is rare in Lyon. The owner/manager is great, he walks you through all the features of the room. He also stocks a self-serve fridge (brilliant idea) with a coin box to pay (he has beer, snacks, yogurt, etc.). Plus the shared kitchen is also well stocked.
While in Lyon, my wife developed a urinary tract infection. The facility manager arranged for a physician to come to the hotel and the physician examined and prescribed an antibiotic - all for 50 Euros ($58). Truly exceptional customer service and care. Highly recommended!
An excellent room with plenty of features - TV, music, air con. The shared facilities were very clean and modern, and the complimentary breakfast basic but a welcome touch. Right by the Metro, making getting to and from Lyon a breeze.
Celine was very kind and helpful, it really enjoyed the stay. The room was mid-sized and very cozy with everything you need.
As Lyon has became very uncomfortable to drive, the parking spot in the car park is very convenient!
We were warmly welcomed by Pascal who also had the best tips for (non touristic) dining in Lyon. He was also so kind to delay our checkout for an hour which helped us a lot! Thanks so much! Can totally recommend!
People at the reception were kind. Rooms are comfy and have everything you need. A beautiful park is really near the hotel. The area isn't touristic, so you get a real Lyon feeling.
The location is superb 100 meters from a metro station. Rooms are large and clean. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is superb. I would definitely stay again in the hotel.
