Borchelli Italian restaurant is great, with excellent meals and desserts. Bendigo Art Gallery is worth a visit, with the current Paris: Impressions of Life exhibition. The Hat Shop is also fun, with a huge selection of hats. The Australian Eucalyptus Oil Company has a good selection of products for gifts, plus plenty of shops to suit all tastes.

Staff were extremely friendly.
Staff were extremely friendly. Meals in Restaurant were lovely and I thought they were very reasonably priced.
It is directly across the road from talking tram and Deborah Goldmine. Very good bakery close walking distance and a Coles Express beside it.
A little bit far from centre of things. Also I would have liked room cleaned during our 5 night stay. But we were allowed to ask for fresh towels from reception, when we needed them.
All in all we enjoyed our stay but would probably get a bigger family room if possible.

Bendigo may only be the fourth largest city in Victoria (...
Bendigo may only be the fourth largest city in Victoria (behind Geelong and Ballarat) but it punches way above its weight for charm, history, architecture, fine dining and just plain fun. There's always lots to see and do but whenever Bendigo puts on a special event - like the Agricultural Show, or the Easter Festival, it's always spectacular.

Wonderful historical town with lots to do and see. We had many wonderful good experiences and enjoyed being able to walk or catch the tram to a variety of destinations. Pratty's Patch was the most amazing place to eat with wonderful customer service and generous meals.

This time visited for one night only, for a single purpose.
This time visited for one night only, for a single purpose. However Bendigo has much to recommend it, parks, galleries, gardens, museums and many dining options, and it is very walkable. The public art gallery has many special exhibitions worth a visit. Train from Melbourne is a good way to travel there.
Beautiful estate to stay at in bendigo. Trip was cut short due to covid but had a fantastic night there. Exceptional hosts with a warm, relaxing and luxurious stay. This place is a must stay if you’re visiting the area. Nothing like conventional hotels, has the vibe of a high end European luxury hotel. Beautiful rooms within the estate to sit around and enjoy the provided port while reading, relaxing and playing the piano. Everything from the linen to breakfast to toiletries is high end. Will be back!!
I really like this feeling of this hotel room feel homely.
This place has provided everything for me with kitchen, living room, shower and public toilets.
This building is so beautiful.
It has a view of the beautiful churches by the living room. Close to shops, cafe and pubs.
I highly recommend this place is opening for anyone who has travelling in Bendigo at a very cozy place to staying here.
I’ll return to this place in the future.
We stay in a lot of Motels around Australia & this motel would have to be the most comfortable place my family has stayed at. So much room in the apartment and very tidy, and beds where so comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and the large kitchen had everything you needed. Hotel next door has great meals and close to a lot of take away meals and the main street of Bendigo.
Wonderful Motel in a great location. Staff were friendly and our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and was made when we got to the dining room Thank you Dean for the bacon and eggs ordered and it ended up being complimentary. We really appreciated it. I would definitely come back to this motel when visiting Bendigo in the future.
The cottage was a small oasis at the end of a 4 week work trip where we drove from Melbourne to Adelaide to Mildura, Wagga Wagga, Shepparton and finally Bendigo! Our hotel booking screwed up and we found this cottage at the 11th hour - Sue was a fantastic and responsive host! We couldn’t have asked for a better ending place!
Beautifully renovated cottage so much more inviting and cosy than hotel rooms generally on offer. Large walk in showers, comfy beds and heating. Fully equipped kitchen & laundry etc - perfect for a longer stay. Well located with cafe across the road and pub around the corner.
The Motel was 5 minutes walk from the Mine in Bendigo and I enjoyed a long time there panning gold and checking out the mine site and purchasing peanut brittle in their shop . I was able to book and catch a tram to see the city all in all a nice experience
Good location. Whilst out of the centre Bendigo, it was very easy walking. And Bendigo is a very nice place to walk around. Also room is quite big. Not being part of a motel or hotel means it is very private, secluded and quiet.
We arrived there early, but the desk staff still helped us check in quickly. When we went into the room, the room was spotless also we liked the comfortable bed. The hotel's location is convenient near the city or the Lake.
There is another Quest hotel right in the centre of Bendigo, but this one is much more spacious, has more comfortable parking, a swimming pool and enormous rooms in the apartment. Still very close to centre of town.
Absolutely no fuss got code access by text
Room serviced each day. Great meals at pub next door. Location brilliant. 900metres to Ullambra theatre . Very easy walk cbd . Would stay again .
It is very central. Right in the middle school of Bendigo. 10 minutes walk from the station or 2 mins in a cab. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.
The room was clean and bed comfortable
It was a beautiful old hotel with so much character. We really enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the balcony at night. It was very beautiful. The location was amazing. Central Bendigo.
It's a fabulous hotel with an old world charm that hasn't been lost by over development or renovation.
Charming in every way and very well located.
History oozes out of every room.
