I love the location and the friendly staff however, I was disappointed that the pool was not heated as my daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday at the hotel didn’t get a chance to go in the pool.
My family has been staying at your property for 30 years when it was Vacation Village and we have lots of great memories!

The location was great.
The views and close walk to the beach was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Not very sound proof and housekeeping wasn’t on par for the price that you pay.
Breakfast and drink were very yummy even though we did not get our welcome drink.

The view from our room was lovely! We could see the ocean & we loved eating our breakfast out on the patio. The included breakfast was a great touch and made us feel like we were really on vacation. The room was small but had everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. We loved the pool area and everyone was so nice & accommodating. The welcome drink when we arrived was also a nice touch. We would love to come back and are thinking about booking our baby moon here in the next few months. The included toiletries were also a nice touch and smelled lovely - I also almost bought the robe it was so luxurious. The water took a little while to get hot but once it did, the waterfall shower was lovely after spending time at the beach.

We paid an upgraded price for a balcony room right on the ocean. We were given a balcony with a rooftop and peak a boo view of the ocean.
Our television only had one station
$45 charge for valet parking and they left my car unlocked in the alley most of the night.
I will not use Booking.com or recommend or go to this hotel ever again.

We enjoyed the laid back welcoming energy of the locals as well as other travelers.
Spring time was a better time for us to visit, seemed to be less busy!
We were impressed by the cleanliness' of the streets, parks and beaches as well as appreciated the free local trolley bus that took us back n forth between the south and north areas of Laguna Beach.
So many beautiful things to take in but overall we felt safe and relaxed which gave us a wonderful experience.
We will return to experience everything that we didn't have the time to!

Crowded on weekends, but one of the nicest beaches in the world. The town is being over-run with tourists and the arty vibe is suffering from this. We found the restaurants middling and very expensive. Really recommend visiting off season or during the week.

Felt very safe and there were so many interesting art galleries and eateries in town. Many people had to queue for at least half hour at Gelato Paradiso for the ice cream. We were lucky as there was no queue around 7pm.
We were travelling to Laguna Beach from Bannings. OMG, we were caught in many toll roads. Couldn't pay online as the system didn;t accept rental cars. Set your maps to non-toll roads if you want to avoid these.

We love Laguna beach’s which are stunning n the downtown is very nice with many restaurants n shops. We had breakfast at Moulins a French place which is excellent. We have frequented Laguna beach several times as we love it here. Many beautiful beaches. Heisler park is a very nice Park overlooking the water n have steps down to the coves. Laguna beach also has a free trolley which goes up the coast up to Dana point and into town. Great place!

A fun little beach town with so much to see and do!
A fun little beach town with so much to see and do! I only had one night there, but would love to go back. It's very walkable with lots of restaurants, shops and art galleries. The coast is diverse with plenty of sandy beaches and many rocky areas with tide pools as well.
The location was amazing. It's right in the heart of Laguna Beach and between some of their best beaches. It's a short hike down the stairs of the back of the property to reach a fairly secluded beach. One bonus of this location is that most surfers choose the waves directly in front of the property, so we were able to wake up early and watch them as we sipped our coffee. There's a pool and jacuzzi in case the ocean is a bit chilly, which is a plus. The hotel staff was always extremely friendly.
We checked in at 8pm where we met Christian. He was amazing and very helpful. Gave us info regarding places to go and answered all questions about our stay. Our room had a balcony with a view to the ocean. On the web site the pix of the room was exactly what we got. I would recommend Art Hotel anytime. We will definitely be returning. Best sleep ever... Comfy beds...
We have stayed in this hotel before, although that was pre pandemic.
Still a great place to stay in Laguna as it is only a 5 minute walk to the shops and main beach. There is also a lovely cliff top walk through the gardens a 2minute walk away.
Room was very comfortable and there is a pool at the property.
The reception were extremely helpful when we arrived.
Friendly staff and walking distance to center of Laguna Beach.
Trolly stop was very close to the hotel.
Pool area was very nice.
Very nice towels in bathroom-better than expected.
Very difficult to carry luggage to the second floor.
The hotel amenities include ear plugs-so what does that tell you.
Bed was very comfortable but walls were very "thin."
upgraded on arrival to a terrace with a sea view. All staff friendly and courteous, a hotel with team work at the core , remembering your name .
A beautiful boutique, unique hotel with a wonderful beach front and sheltered pool courtyard.
Watching sunset from the hotel was incredible.
Superb relax and recuperate stay for 48hrs, a hotel to book again.
Great location just outside the centre of Laguna Beach with a great walk through a park to a quiet cove or the town. Nice restaurants nearby. Room nicely furnished and comfortable. Pool area was pleasant with a fire pit for cooler evenings. The people who serviced our room were pleasant and efficient. Great underground convenient parking.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel owner was lovely. He really went the extra to tell us about the area. He was clearly passionate about Laguna Beach (with good reason). The room was very clean and had all the facilities that you could require. The beach was literally 5 minutes walk. You couldn't really want for more.
The hotel was great with the patio and the terrace.
We had a welcome wine on the rooftop which was great and they offered us (for free) the opportunity to use the swimming pool and jacuzzi of the hotel just next to it which was super easy and great too. The staff was super friendly and the room was great!
I love how inviting and comfortable that it is.
It is a vintage, retro hotel with a surfer vibe that reminds me of the early days of Laguna Beach.
My room had wonderful views of the beach and was very comfortable to stay in. I loved the hospitality of the staff and how nice the room was to stay in.
The property is right on the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. The grocery store on the corner was handy, too, especially for a family vacation. The hotel provided beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas, and towels, so no need to load the car with these essentials.
Great hotel. It is located next to the ocean literally 50 meters away. The staff is very nice, friendly, always help. My wife and I were provided with an umbrella and chairs for a good time on the ocean. It was super. I would come back here again👍
My favorite hotel! It’s the perfect hotel for a staycation!
Ken helped with my check in when there was slight confusion. He was professional, kind and resolved issue with ease. Thank you for a great stay! Coming back next week!!!
The ONLY thing we like was obviously being right on the water/ocean view. We had to fight for it though! The photos displayed are "stock" photos according to hotel manager. Not the same room whatsoever!
Perfect location for Laguna Beach main beach, nice hotel but very dated in places and the parking charge is extortionate in what is already an expensive hotel which has limited facilities.
This is an iconic hotel. The location is world class. Service is outstanding. The food is very good. Pool rocks. And you are on the beach. On it. I love staying here.
