The housekeeper was really nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. There are completely bikes, and the house is right on a beautiful bike trail. I ordered the hot breakfast, and it was very good, and great at value for it's cost.

Traveling with my son, they accommodated us in a room on the first floor, apparently with a family with children and a pet upstairs who did not allow us to sleep for two nights. I really wouldn't repeat this experience

Falmouth is an adorable little town, giving us a great taste of what Cape Cod is all about. Our lodging at the Frederick William House was the icing on the cake. Jeanette and Fiona were the most wonderful hosts, making our visit more special. Totally will return!!

We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth.

We had a wonderful visit to Falmouth. We spent time at various beaches, Nobska Lighthouse, Woods Hole, The Knob, Spohr Gardens, and Main Street. The shopping, dining, and natural beauty of the area made for a very pleasant little getaway.

The restaurant was only open for Breakfast!

The restaurant was only open for Breakfast! It was closed for lunch and dinner. The pool was not open!! There was no water or air conditioning in the gym. They did not have water in the rooms, because they said Falmouth does not allow plastic container, yet the vending machines did - so we bought our water for our room. They said that we could buy canned water at the front desk!! We were so disappointed when we received an email informing us about the closure of restaurant and pool the day before we left for our vacation with our grandchildren. We couldn't find another hotel during that week close to the Falmouth Curling Tournament that my son-in-law was performing!!! It was not a very nice vacation.

Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free.

Went to Grew's Pond, which is public access and free. A freshwater beach, small but lovely with small kids. Other beaches are private or need non-resident sticker fees. Had a great Mexican lunch (gets crowded though, be prepared to wait for a table) at Anejo on Main St. Falmouth is also the stop for a Martha's Vineyard Ferry and I would definitely recommend staying there on the Cape.

Gorgeous property in a perfect location. Such a lovely place to stay right on the beach. The sunsets were amazing ! Loved being able to go and sit on the beach for breakfast (note , make sure you buy supplies). The room was fantastic , lovely touch having the record player with a selection of records. Have since been home and rediscovered my love for vinyl. Would highly recommend.

A great place to stay, conveniently located near everything needed. The ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are each no more than 35 minutes drive away. The maid service was the best we’ve seen in a long time. Our room was well equipped with a refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher and everything needed to prepare and eat meals. The television had hundreds of cable channels.

The room was as pictured which was cute and refreshing. I was worried about the room because of the star rating but the prices in the area were so expensive I decided to take a chance. I,m so glad we took the chance. The owners were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to the ferry for out day at Martha's vineyard and into town for dinner. We were just delighted.

Falmouth is a great city and Palmer House enabled being right in the center - convenient walking distance to all of downtown. It gave a "family inn" atmosphere, you could feel the attention to detail that permeates a family inn. Net resullt, Palmer House became an integral part of the enjoyment of Falmouth and not just a tag-along place to stay.

Location to everything in Falmouth outstanding, near down area and not far from woods hole. Seaway bike path right out back of inn which was very nice and wonderful to ride on, bikes were included with room so that was the best part. Area and location of the inn great; room we had not so good: maybe their other four rooms were better.

This place was amazing. It is surrounded by a ton of great places to eat. The room was incredibly clean and cozy! And the staff was phenomenal! I went off-season, and I intend to continue going off season. I have stayed in luxury Boston hotels, and this place easily rivaled them at a fraction of the cost! Highly recommended

I tried to get on the ferry Christmas Eve to MV. All ferries cancelled due to a storm. I found this hotel and was grateful to have a place to stay. The irony on Christmas Eve. The restaurant wasn't great felt cold but I appreciated being able to get food as everywhere else seemed closed.

This is a friendly, warm and very comfortable motel, and close to the downtown Falmouth area. Shops, a variety of restaurants and a town park are all close-by. We have been coming here for years and particularly love the flowers all along the rooms’ exterior.
