Well get there by accident because of car trouble.
It was great. Best food i had in hotels in sri lanka. They make for you especially. We had rice and curry for dinner was amazing. And breakfast was western with salad like we asked. They have an organic farm so everything was super fresh and tasty. My parents even got some pork sausages from their pig farm. The rooms were spacious and verry hot water in the shower. The pool is great with amazing views the staff is very nice and cater to your every need. Highly recomended.

The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

I will tell anyone coming to Sri Lanka - stay with Ravi at Margosa Mountain Villa. Best stay on our trip and top 5 lifetime. Stunning setting. Perfect room. Delicious food -organic rice, fruit, fish etc. right from the property, expertly cooked by Ravi’s wife Sewwandi. Pool is sublime. Birds galore (and easy to find and ID with Ravi’s help). Booked for two days. Stayed for 4. Great spot for excursions Dambulla, Sigiriya, and beyond, but we were happy just to relax and meditate on our good fortune to be there. Ravi spent 23 years as tour guide and it shows both in his care and expertise. I know this review sounds like a plug from one of his friends but I promise that 5 days ago we’d never met. But, yes, we have definitely made a new friend. Stay as long as you can.
