Aside from taking personal security seriously, the location...
Aside from taking personal security seriously, the location seem safe, staff is willing to advise best options for food and moving around. The fact that they provide a mean for local transportation makes all the difference in the world. I parked my car and used their service. My experience was a safe trip but not trying to explore as other cities. As long as you take the usual precautions of a city tagged as insecure, you must remember that there are nice people all over the place and they want to make you feel at home. That is what I liked best. How people always had a smile and were willing to make you feel safe and comfortable. The issues I had at the hotel, were minimal and usually happens ( You don't want to be part of that statistic) but those issues did not last too long either before they got fixed.

I like that we had the space of a two bedroom living quarters but the bathroom is tiny. Had issues with the toilet flushing at first but after that it's been fine. we personally cleaned up the street in front of where we are staying there was trash everywhere and still is on the other side of the street dogs poop on the sidewalk

Not my first time in Nuevo Laredo and it always captures me.
Not my first time in Nuevo Laredo and it always captures me. I feel like at home being there. Also love the sun and temperatures. Not the safest place to be, but also nothing happened all those times i was there. Try the real Mexican life. The place and its people are really enjoyable. Nuevo Laredo downtown is more busy and there can be some nightlife found, allthough it is safer to stay inside during the night. Depends on the how the situation is. Normally this city is only used to travel through, but it can be worth to visit.
i liked absolutely nothing. it took 3 hours for us to get service to the room for the toliet and the wifi connections. we were literally steps from the reception but it took 3 hours. the only thing nice about this hotel is that it's nice in the middle of no where.
the hotel is beautiful in itself. everything is incredible except for getting a taxi in the morning. the number on the counter didn't even ring to come pick us up. if you have an early morning bus or something to catch, finding a taxi is nearly impossible.
The ratings would have been higher had the hotel accepted our Pet Dog. Suggesting it sleep in the car was not an option. For todays traveller, having our dog with us in very normal. You miss the whole idea of family.
It was fine a standard business hotel on the outskirts of town with good parking and the basic amenities one needs. it served the purpose for a reasonable price.
