Always amazing. Never disappoints . Now gets crowded with tourists so if you don't like this maybe not for you. Traffic is kind of insane and the footpaths are more awful every year. The welcome from the locals never fades.
Please be respectful of the local culture if you travel there.

If you want to experience their culture, go to Ubud.
If you want to experience their culture, go to Ubud. Try to dine in their local warung - where the locals go. Cheaper too compared to restaurants frequented by tourists.
And when you are fond of shopping, try to bargain.

Ubud holds a remarkable spiritual essence unlike any other...
Ubud holds a remarkable spiritual essence unlike any other city I've encountered. Its people exude a unique purity of heart that sets it apart from neighboring cities like Uluwatu. There's an inexplicable magic to this place. From the delectable cuisine and aromatic coffees to the serene temples, vibrant fruits, mesmerizing waterfalls, expansive rice fields, rejuvenating massages, and enlightening yoga classes – Ubud offers a transformative journey. It gently nudges you towards enhancing the quality of your life. What more could one hope to feel when immersing oneself in the rich tapestry of diverse cultures? It's an inspiring odyssey of self-discovery and growth.

The green oasis. So many beautiful places to visit.
The green oasis. So many beautiful places to visit. From the mindblowing themples to the waterfalls and rice terraces.
Lots of cafes and restraunts for any taste. A plenty of activities for any interest and budget.
Ubud center with so many lovely cafeterias and small shops at one place.
Monkey Forest- a must visit! Monkeys aren't so wild as in Uluwatu, and the forest itself is stunningly beautiful and very well maintained.
Birds Park and Zoo- if you are with kids, dedicate one day to see the most beautiful feathered species in Birds park and lovely wild animals at the Zoo.
A numerous number of spectacular temples in nearby, just Google and choose which you like the most to visit!
And of course, the Rice Terraces! That's just beyond of any expectations!
Ubud- One Love Forever!

Ubud is lovely.
Ubud is lovely. From its friendly people, to the Monkey Forest; from the bustling market, to the Royal Palace, from its fabulous eateries, to the easy access to walks by the rice fields.
From this trip I would highly recommend Putri Ubud Spa 2 on Jl. Bisma - I had several massage treatments all of which left me feeling amazing!
The new visitor centre at the Monkey Forest is great - a lovely addition to the experience.
Ubud centre is easily to get around by foot and even for my family member, who has reduced mobility and uses a walker, they were able to get around with a mix of taxis and walking. I noticed that the pedestrian pavements were much improved since previous visits which definitely assisted with the ease of access.

Very nice for peace and tranquility but be prepared to walk...
Very nice for peace and tranquility but be prepared to walk as the roads like all in Bali are very congested. The town is very old and like most of Bali is in a state of change, what goes up must come down, but their glorious temples remain constant, people are very social and pleasant and as I said the roads are very old and walkways , be prepared there are many holes and trip points. It is full of colour and characters, surrounding jungle and bargains to be had, but most important, the coffee and food are good, enjoy your stay, we did
5 star - Everything the property is so well run. Communication is amazing 24/7. Amazing local knowledge. Really warm kind loving family. Went above and beyond to help me when I was sick. Nursed me back to health. Just incredible people. Accommodation really keen modern and safe. Really recommend as you feel so happy to be in such safe hands here! Hotel manager is a beautiful lady who just wants you to have a great holiday. So efficient looks after all your needs. Replies so quickly on WhatsApp. The best! Thank you so much
The hotel itself and the location was great…surrounded by beautiful fields and greenery all around. It is a 30 minute ride on a motorbike from Ubud town so you can get the best of both worlds staying in this property…peace and relaxation in the hotel but also enjoy the busy town atmosphere with plenty of places to eat a short ride away. The staff were exceptionally good. They were so helpful and always went above and beyond to help us with anything. They made our stay so easy and comfortable.
Great spacious room with private pool and garden. Outdoor bathroom. Amazing massages. Good breakfast (but I did not realize it was not included in the price of the room). Rice fields are right in front of the hotel and it was delightful to walk through them. Hôtel has a golf cart to bring you from main street and to go back: this is well organised. You can have your breakfast and dinner on your terrace, which is super cool! Nice staff, so kind and helpful. Good food!
We booked the 2-bed villa with private pool, which was away from the main hotel and very private. For the price, it was perfect. It was secluded and huge and had the private pool and garden. Staff were available on WhatsApp and incredibly attentive when needed - see below. Loved the massive terrace upstairs, as well as sitting area below. Water dispenser was a grateful inclusion, as was the kettle.
I stayed in a villa with private pool. The rooms and the pool were sparkling clean, staff were really attentive and helped us throughout our stay. We used the laundry service which was prompty returned to us under 24 hours, the staff assisted us with renting a bike and with finding transport services for day tours, etc. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay here again
Everything! the villa itself its really clean, very spacious and comfy. The staff is excepcional! We had the floating breakfast and it was delicious and an amazing experience. Close to everything, 10 min walking distance from ubud center and 5 min from monkey forest,a lot of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Our stay was amazing. Highly recommend. 10/10
This is one of the best villas I've been to and it's second time for me in Bali and I've been to many different villas and hotels here. The price is great, breakfasts are the best and the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Can't recommend them enough, would leave a higher score if I could. They also take care of animals and environment! :)
The personal was very friendly and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was excellent, we tried different restaurants around the area too but the restaurant in the hotel is the best.
Pool clean, area beautiful, close to the monkey Forest and Ubud center.
We travelled with a 1.5 years old baby and we highly recommend the villa for families.
One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property, great location close to a Ubud, but in the hills, so very peaceful and quiet. Magnificent breakfast every morning beyond any expectations. The pool was fantastic as well. I also loved the caring and genuine staff who went out of their way to make everything, perfect.
The host is really lovely, rooms are clean and nice. Location wise is also really good, you are near everything, but it is quiet and calm in that street. No wonder that some of the best hotels are nearby. Breakfast is also yummy.
With the cheap rates an absolute must to stay in!
The setting is unreal. Soooo beautiful so serene. Cute houses, rice fields and jungle around. Roof is nice and authentically stylish.
I mean it’s not luxurious but for the price it’s one of the best deals in Ubud and much better than other hotels of that price category
Everything! From the staff to the facilities everything was just perfect! For people who are afraid of insects I highly recommend staying here… the cleaning is amazing and the staff is always ready to help you;) one of the best hotels in Bali for sure!
Probably the best experience at the hotels ever. The villa was amazing, beautifully decorated and minimalistic. Very nice big pool, breakfast was delicious and served at the villa. We really enjoyed every single minute of our stay.
This hotel was AMAZING. Don't have any doubts about booking here. The food, the view, the private pool, the morning yoga - everything was excellent. The spa was the best I've ever been to. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
Rooms are unique, food is great, it shows they’ve been doing great as one of the oldest hotels in Ubud. Cooking class offered is top notch. We did that 9 years ago, and this time again. It is a wonderful experience.
- Spacious villa
- Hospitable staff
- Walkable distance to Ubud Centre and Monkey Forest (around 40 mins; slightly hilly)
- Inexpensive food at the hotel restaurant
- A convenience store directly opposite the hotel
I stayed one night in a villa and one night in a villa with private pool. Amazing! The pool was perfect. More isolated than I expected. Really comfy bed.
Staff were lovely.
Last minute deal so was super cheap.
The location is the best in Ubud. one of my favorite hotels in Ubud. I tried to stay in many fancy around - but no kidding, the staff in here are making me feel home whenever I’m coming here. thank you
Very good location in the center of Ubud. The room is big and has a great ceiling fan. The balcony was also nice. The breakfast was pretty good, like in most hotels - eggs, toast an fruit.
