Not a lot to see in Kampong Thom itself, though visitors interested in history would like to visit the varions ancient sites in the vicinity. Kompong Thom is interesting because it is less Westernized than Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, but that also means that there are fewer facilities.

Using an old wooden building on stilts as the reception and main eating area added to the charm. The hotel was like an oasis and retreat within a rural setting. Coming back to a relaxing pool made it a real treat after being out all day. The breakfast was fantastic - so tasty, healthy and with so many options. The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive - and were so keen to make our experience such a pleasant one.

It was super clean and equipped with everything we could wish for. The rooms had a view towards the pool. Since the pool area was nice and with a lot of plants you looked into the green. The food was also exquisite and although not a lot people were staying during the rain season/COVID the restaurant stayed open and we could get everything we wanted. Beds were super comfy and I had a great sleep!

When we were accidentally dropped off in the completely wrong place by our bus driver, the hotel staff went above and beyond in making sure we got to the hotel safely, and helped us in contacting a driver to come pick us up. The hotel is an oasis, the swimming pool was very nice, the hotel offers the possibility to take some bikes for a city ride (free of charge). The room was very comfortable and quiet. I booked deluxe room and there were pictures of bathtub but when I arrived to hotel, there was no any bathtube in deluxe room. Thanks to management, they help me to change the room.
