Vienna is a beautiful city, we only spent a long weekend but could easily have had more days. Lots of culture and sites to see and easy enough to walk around or plenty of public transport to take. The food was amazing, would recommend to pre book as a lot of places were already full if you didn't.

We've found Vienna to be the same as 6 years ago, museums, monuments and attractions' wise. Prices, though, went through the roof on admission tickets to various venues and restaurants meals.
We've still revisited 'The Albertina', Hofburg Sisi Museum, St Stephan's Cathedral, and so on.

Vienna is a stunning city to visit whether enjoying beautiful coffee, browsing in shops of interest or going to a concert.
I am an avid knitter and loved the yarn shops in Vienna. I highly recommend wollewien, Pingouin and Laniato. They each had a great selection of yarns. wollewien was my top pick because the staff were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.

Very comfortable public transport. You can buy tickets and navigate with "WienMobil" application.
There are dayly organ music at St. Peter's Church at 15:00.
Recommend visiting "Therme Wien".
For best coffee and cheescake visit "The Truth Wollzeile" cafe.
For guest with children I'll recommend visiting "Haus des Meeres" - like zoo inside 11-floor building.
The hotel is in a very nice part of the city. The metro station is 2 mins from the hotel, and from there you can get to the city center in 7 mins. You can walk to the city center if you want and can. I did it a few times.
The transfer to the airport, Vienna Airport Lines (VAL 1), stops in front of the Westbahnhof train station, which is in front of the metro station. Everything is very close!
Also, there is a very nice commercial street just around the corner, where you can find all sorts of restaurants, bars, and shops.
The hotel is located very close to the main Vienna train station. You could access the main city centre using the Tram line D departing very close to the hotel. Tickets can be brought on the tram via an automated machine. Remember to buy the 24 hour ticket rather than a single journey ticket if you plan to travel around a bit. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, new and functional. The breakfast was ok value around 12 Euros. There is also a 24 hour bar downstairs which seem to be quite popular in the evening.
You can find parking spots on the street, they are free of charge during the night. There's also a public parking garage nearby, "Tiefgarage Lerchenfelderstraße - Wien | APCOA", we paid 14 Euros for a night and 12 hours during the day, although you need the app of the parking garage and the app is not available for all the countries.
The Hotel is great for its position, you can visit by foot all the major attractions of Vienna's City Center.
The staff were all very helpful. The cuisine was of a very high standard. the breakfast had an excellent selection and the restaurant had a good selection od meals on the Menu. We ate in the hotel restaurant on evening and the meals were excellent and not overpriced. Approximately 20€ Person with coffee/juice. The hotel was close to the Underground, rail and tram station for connections to the city centre or surrounds of Vienna
The location was excellent: within walking distance of the old city centre and on the Ringstrasse. Train stations for both CAT and underground were near and were easy to use (for free) with a Vienna City Card. Breakfasts were good, although the tables were on the small side. The hotel is part of a larger building, but that added to its charm. There are good cafe/restaurants, nearby. A very good base for a visit to Vienna.
This is a newly renovated extremely eco- friendly hotel in an excellent location in Vienna. Very close to underground stop to get in to all the old city center sites or you could also walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the beds very comfortable, and the included breakfast was fabulous! Lots of organic and homemade items- scrumptious. Wish this hotel was in more cities!
Excellent little hotel close to the city centre. The room was minimally decorated, had everything we needed and nothing more. It was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the towels fluffy and the bathroom very nice. The owners were very polite and helpful when we called them and they accommodated us immediately.
When I come back to Vienna, I am definitely staying here again.
Nice quiet location in a park, close (20 mins walk) to the UBahn for travelling to Vienna city centre. Shops, bars and restaurants nearby, short walk away. Easy to reach by car, saves driving into Vienna. Perfect for watching Rapid Vienna. Hotel is quiet, clean and reasonably modern. Outside parking, seemed safe (in a good area). Good breakfast.
This hotel is not for Fusspots, but it's in a great City Centre Location. It's style is very 1970s but our room was very clean, fairly spacious for 4 of us, quiet and very comfortable. Also very reasonably priced. We tend to spend the majority of our time out and about and there's loads to see and do in Vienna.
The hotel is a new facility in Vienna, very conveniently located and in a not so busy neighbourhood, still very close to the key attractions of Vienna city centre.
We are often traveling by car and parking in the hotel was easy as well which is a big plus in this town!
The hotel is in a very good location, close to many train station and Vienna City Centre. The breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed the lovely terrace.
It was a bit hot during the first night, but when we asked the staff for an extra fan, they provided one.
Nice hotel to stay in Vienna:
- next to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof (station)
- 30 min from Vienna Central Station by direct tramway
- 15-20 min from city center by direct tramway
- spacious room
- good breakfast
- helpful staff
- option to leave luggage
Nice hotel in Vienna. Not very close to the city centre, but it’s easily reachable by bus or walking (about 30 min walk). Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is simple but not extortionate and the room was not overcrowded.
The location is outstanding for having nice walks in the city centre.
Karl, the host, is extremely nice and attentiv. He gave us free ride from and to the airport plus he gave us really useful tips and hinds about Vienna sightseeing.
location of the hotel is not the best but its quite close to all public transport. at the end the city centre is not far and it is possible to walk and absorb "mood of Vienna" . Even Prater is very close to the hotel.
The best hotel in Vienna for its price.
+ Location - very close to the public transport stops (6 stops by the underground from the city center)
+ Very clean
+ Breakfast (wide variety of food)
+ Staff
+ Price
+ Design
This hotel has a great location, it's a 2 minutes walk from the main train station, but rooms are very quiet. It's easy to get to the airport or the city centre from here. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful
The location of the Hotel is good: close to the city center of Vienna
The bathroom was good: probably the best feature of the room
The room was well heated
