The breakfast was very good. the technology in the hotel is so over the top. We do not need a toilet seat that lifts up when you enter the bathroom. There were reading lights on both sides of the bed but a switch on only one side which made it difficult for one person to read later than the other but not be able to switch the light off without getting out of bed and walking to the other side and then walking back in the dark.. We could not understand the TV as it was far too complicated

The Apartment had every amenity you could wish for, a real home from home, loved the welcome tea and coffee set up and the hot water bottles were most welcome.
The views from every window were spectacular all furniture, bedding was to a high standard. The jet tub was sheer luxury 😌

Property has all the comfort of a modern apartment, it is very spacious & on my arrival spotlessly clean.
The bathroom is very well planned & the shower was easy to operate & the temperature was perfect.
Bedroom very spacious & the added touch of a couple of hot water bottles was very charming, heating was more than sufficient.
Location to both the local CoOp was less than a 5 min walk, bus stops only a few minutes more.
Laxey wheels are only 10 minutes walk away & the harbour less than a 15 minute stroll.
It is worth checking out the Manx wool mill only a short stroll from the apartment,managed to pick up some great scarves,gloves & the best pair of tweed slippers that I have ever had in my life.
There is a lovely walk to visit King Orrys grave which will stretch the legs after a good breakfast.
Laxey had alot to offer the seasoned walker & there are some lovely undisturbed opportunities along the old mine route, near the road bridge is a hotel & a great place to start a walk towards Ballasalla.
