I went primarily to play Golf & there are excellent courses available for Golfers of all levels which I really appreciated but there are plenty of options for folk just wanting a Seaside break, plenty of facilties, local markets, good shopping & excellent food widely available.

The old city is very beautiful, we walked around the streets and climbed the belltower. It is very empty in January. Many restaurants and shops are closed. The nearby area is fantastic for walking and birdwatching.

A nice place to base yourself and good roads to places of interest.
The Costa Brava has good walking on its coast. For cycle riders, there are no shortages of challenging bike rides although the traffic can cause some wariness for nervous road cycilsts

The old town Pals is incredible. it felt surreal to walk on the street among all the ancient buildings. Felt so romantic, out of this world.
We found the best Restaurant and incredible meal. El Pedro. Advise: make a resrvation. The place is busy.

Pals - must visit to this small medieval town. You can see the entire town in less than 2 hours but still a must visit. There are 2-3 small cafes where you can stop for beers and chips and also eat lunch if you want. There are few nice boutiques for shopping - souvenirs, dresses, accessories etc.

Pals is a wonderful little medieval town.
Pals is a wonderful little medieval town. You probably only need one afternoon; a nice long lunch, a self guided walking tour, and some light shopping. Be sure to go up the Tower of Hours for only 1 Euro.
Pals is also a very nice jumping off point for visiting all the beaches, other medieval towns like Begur wineries, and Camino de Ronda for those who love to hike!
Host Jordi was excellent and very friendly, never disturbed us but was there for any questions we had. The house is lovely and the pool and BBQ area was brilliant. Lots of things included that we never expected like pool towels, shower gels, charcoal etc. Easy to find and easy to get to local larger towns (need a car, nothing is walkable) went to the market in Pals on Tuesday which was a little disappointing as quite small but definitely recommended the old town for its history and you must eat at Casino Antic as the food was the best we had.
Facilities excellent, clean, well maintained.
The staff are hard working friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a nature tent which was of a very high standard. The showers toilets were of a hotel standard. Cleaning staff always chatty and friendly.
The two swiiming pools are brilliant one for swimmers expecially for fitness in the morning and a brand new leisure pool for the kids.
The friendly staff make the place excellent.
Located on outskirts of playa pals , large apart hotel , very impressed with size of studio apartment , very pleasant staff at reception , nice south facing patio with view of large pool and garden ,smaller kids pool apartment well equipped for my simple needs , nice size ensuite with a bath , always a bonus , very comfortable exceeded my expectations , always nice when that happens
Best equipped house we have ever seen (kitchen articles, board games, table tennis and other games, pool etc.). Each of the four rooms have two beds and a toilet and shower and aircon. Parking available on property site. Grocery in walking distance. Beach about 20-30m walk.
Pals is a short drive away from the beach. The house is located in Palsmar (for car navigation).
The room was very comfortable and clean. The overall property was well taken care of and beautifully designed. Great location, in between Pals and Begur. Close to many beaches.
Breakfast was good. We had a multiple course chefs menu in the restaurant in the evening as well, which was good value for money.
Pool was on the smaller side, but good
The medieval home is quite unique and could well he out of an ancient storybook. Rooms tend to be dark - but to be expected in this venturous place. Accommodations come with a basic breakfast. The house is near the medieval town of Pals - a must see - and generally well located for other excursions in the area.
Great attention to details and best-in-class hospitality, the room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and healthy, everything was clean and tidy, the location is great to explore pals as well as the best beaches in Costa Brava.
Thank you for the great experience, we will be back ;)
We enjoyed Mas Ferran immensely. The breakfast was something we looked forward to each day. The rooms were warm and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to hang out in the living spaces in the evenings with a cozy fire going. Wonderful hosts wonderful hotel!
Nice hotel with beautiful garden and pool and excellent restaurant with fantastic service. Room clean and comfortable. We were given an upgrade to a room with view over the garden because we had the intention to extend our stay with another night.
Clean, quiet hotel. Very comfortable bed, large shower, good closet space with plenty of hangers, heating unit worked well. The refrigerator was a nice touch. Easy parking and easy check-in. Teresa at reception was very welcoming and helpful.
The building itself has been beautifully restored. The hotel directly borders a busy road, but the high quality windows were amazing at blocking the road noise. The breakfast was excellent - not something I often say about European destinations.
Very cute and romantic hotel! Also greatly placed in Pals to enjoy the old city within walking distance. The rooftop is mesmerizing, looks like a page from a fairytale.
Beautiful rural position within walking distance of the medieval centre of Pals. Lovely pool for a relaxing rest day on our hiking trip.Roomy cool apartment.
