We were very happy here. Our host was extremely kind, friendly and approachable. We arrived late at night a little bit hungry, and even though the kitchen was closed, our host put together a delicious meal for both me and my partner (a separate vegetarian dish for me). You must visit the restaurant for authentic Senegalese and Cote d'Ivoire food. The location wasn't too bad with a bus route nearby. The host is always available in the restaurant adjacent or by phone. Excellent value for money.

Clean hotel in excellent location just off Rue St. Catherine walking street. Well lit and busy area. Great choice of nearby shopping and restaurants.

Floirac is an empty town. If you would like to visit Bordeaux it is perfect, since it is easy to take the car there. In 15-20 minutes you are in the centre of Bordeaux! In Floirac there are no stores, no cafes, no restaurants,... But you can find a beautiful hotel in Floirac that is cheaper than staying in Bordeaux centre itself. We stayed in Chateaux La Cheze, which was beautiful.

The rooms in the main building are good although you do need a torch to read as the lighting is abismal with black walls.Very good bathroom The rooms in the stable block are spacious but again the lighting is abismal with a black wall and if it is hot you cannot open the windows as it is on the ground floor. The air conditioning did not work when we stayed there the night of 10th June The food in the restaurant was excellent however there is no food available at the weekends.
It was an ideal position when needing a nights rest when travelling further
The greeting from staff when we entered the hotel was warm and friendly, and explanations of what was nearby including food were very helpful. The room though compact had everything you could want - the bed and pillow were comfortable and everything was clean. Didn't hear any noise overnight, even though we were by a very busy road. The breakfast food was fresh, with lots of choice, sweet and savoury available. So pleased we found this hotel, perfect for a stop over on the way to the Pyrenees, and will definitely be back!
One of the best hotels i have stayed in in our travels, lovely authentic rooms and grounds to relax in.Wonderful very helpful staff who go out of there way to help especially Eugene who we interacted with the most. Our group all have said the same and will advise friends and family to stay if they come to Bordeaux.
Convenience for Bordeaux. Spacious grounds and grand building. The restaurant looked good, and should have probably eaten there! We really appreciated the free parking after discovering how hard it is to park in Bordeaux with a roof box. Top tip - get a taxi into Bordeaux from the hotel - don't drive!
Great hotel. Very warm throughout the hotel which we found excellent. Lovely grounds. The majority of the staff were excellent. Good secure parking within the grounds of the hotel.
Staff were really lovely, especially Jessica.
Breakfast was lovely and they decked out the hotel for the Rugby World Cup and set up a large screen for fans to watch games.
Room was clean, comfortable and was excellant for our one night stay. Parking was easy and staff incredibly helpful. Hotel location brillant for the arena
