recently had the pleasure of staying at Kasbah Nkob, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The warm welcome from the professional staff set the tone for my entire stay. The room at Kasbah Nkob surpassed my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and tasteful decor. With a spectacular view of sahara, it added an extra touch to the overall experience. The hotel amenities at Kasbah Nkob were top-notch, and the on-site dining, exceeded my culinary expectations. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism at Kasbah Nkob were consistent throughout my stay, making me feel truly valued. The hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore Nkob, and go directly to merzouga. I highly recommend Kasbah. Nkob for anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay in Nkob.
This guest house is a 5-minute walk from the village of Nkob. It is built to look like a fortified Kasbah and features a rooftop sun terrace with an outdoor swimming pool and views of the desert,...

Friendly staff, beautiful property, good food and wonderful service. Staff were kind, helpful and genuine in their hospitality and wanting to hep with any and all requests. El fresco, pool-side dining in atmospheric beber style tents lit by candles in the evening. The birdsong was a welcome change from the busy cities and the grounds were peaceful - bougainvillea and citrus tress everywhere. A very grand experience!
With views of Saghro Mountains, Riad Auberge Bassou is in Nkob, famous for its Kasbahs surrounded by the Pre Saharian Desert.

We had a fun stay. We arranged a guided hike that included meeting a nomad family. The hike was hard but rewarding. It was supposed to. Be 3 hours but it was 5.5! We saw incredible scenery, herds of sheep and goats. Then the host arranged a jam session of traditional music because I had told him I liked music.

very nice, beautiful, authentic place with modern facilities.
A working town - local shops and a lively Saturday market.
A working town - local shops and a lively Saturday market. If you need help there are plenty of local services (petrol station, mechanics, police, health centre, pharmacy) plus places to eat traditional, Moroccan food (look for the barbecues with tagine pots in the street - that’s a restaurant!). There’s a great bakery/ patisserie too. Nkob is really a base for adventure - the surrounding mountains, cliffs and gorges provide spectacular hiking, trekking with mules, mountain biking, trail running and rock-climbing. There are local, official, multilingual guides available at reasonable prices to take you on routes from 1 hour to 5 days! The geologists amongst us will find the buttes here quite fascinating (mini Arizona!) and there are fossils and minerals scattered across the land. For the less energetic there’s an easy drive up to Tizi Pass (altitude c.2700 metres) where there’s even a tearoom and auberge!
A quiet respite off the main drag of Nkob. A short walk to the oasis. The owner Lahcen, was a one of the most gracious hosts we have met in Morocco. Breakfast is included, but just ask and his wife will cook a delicious dinner for you as well! Lahcen speaks only Arabic and French, but we used translation apps to communicate well enough. The room & bed were comfortable. The rooms surround a lovely courtyard. The hotel is off a side street, so don’t let the dirt street fool you. I highly recommend this guesthouse
The Kasbah is like a very well maintained museum and I felt it is a honor to stay here. The rooms are big, very comfortable and furniture seems authentic. It was so clean that I did not use my shoes inside the whole kasbah.
They prepare excellent food, dinner and breakfast were very good.
N'Kob is a small desert town with a very interesting history. The hotel manager has all the details. The town has 45 Kasbahs from the different families that fou ded the town.
The views from the terrace are absolutely amazing. There are so many charming places to sit both outdoor and indoor with large windows so the view can be enjoying from almost everywhere. Lovely pool and beautifully decorated rooms and interior. We ate dinner here and it was delicious and so was the breakfast ….But above all the staff we’re incredibly friendly and always smiling. This was our favourite hotel on our 10 day trip and we plan to return soon.
We really enjoyed our stay! Maison d’Hôtes Ait Hmid was one of the loveliest stays during our trip in Morocco. The rooms are situated in a traditional mudbrick home around a lovely courtyard. At night star gazing is recommended. But the best of our stay was the hospitality, we felt really welcome and at home and meeting the family was a true pleasure. Highly recommend this guesthouse. Hopefully I will return!
Our stay at Kasbah Ennakb Hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts. From the breathtaking views to the impeccable service, every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. Mohamed and Youssef passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction, making guests feel like cherished friends rather than just visitors. We can't wait to return to this beautiful place of luxury and warmth.
Room spacious and a lovely view. Hotel was wonderfully peaceful at night, and we could see hundreds of stars. The food at lunch seemed to be very popular - lots of tour buses stopped here (though we didn't eat here.) Beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was nice - the first decent coffee I've had in a week. The public areas were very smart and the staff polite and smartly-dressed.
An oasis of luxury and calmness in the remote village of Nkob. Very professional and proud staff, everything is provided for. Multiple story rooms which are extremely well decorated (feels like sleeping on the set of Dune). Dinner is provided by tents next to the pool. Main buildiog is an actual ¬5 story Kasbah.
The terrace on top was really nice, the 2 guys from the reception they was so friendly to bring us some tea and chairs/ table over there for the sunset. They give us also some good tips to continued our trip.
Dinner and breakfast was nice as well the green area in the middle of the Hotel.
I arrived unwell to Nkob and the personnel at Kasbah Ennakb were very kind and helpful and left the day after feeling better and well rested. The hotel is clean and has very good facilities. I wish I had been better to enjoy it more but I highly recommend it. Breakfast looked delicious 😋
Beautifully restored historic kasbah in the center of quiet Nkob, Extremely welcoming and friendly hosts - Brahim took us right away on an extensive and insightful tour through town and the palmerias surrounding it. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food!
Riad Nkob with mr. Mohamed is hidden treassure. He is so kind and respectful. And he Cook amaizig. He prepered us the best maroccan dinner and breakfast and also welcome drink. Aslo town Nkob is must see on the road from Merzouga..
The Kasbah is a dream. Second time for me to go there and it seems to be better everytime. The one and only place in Nkob!! What can I say, just love the place and the people that work there.
