Stayed their for only one night as we were picking up a cruise the next day. Everything was good and the service was exceptional. As two senior women travelling I was very happy that the resort provided a wonderful person to pick us up at the airport and then he took us to the cruise port the next morning. I would definately stay their again. Also we arrived late evening so most eating places were closed so the owner made us an amazing pizza. This was a wonderful jesture as we were both tired from a long travel day and just wanted to relax. This was much appreciated.

Bahia Principel Bougainville adult only resort was a very comfortable reasonably priced resort. Like the concept of a large “load” activity pool and equally large a quiet pool both serving good drink selection.
And service. The food was very good in both buffets and a la cart restaurants.we like the Bahia app through which to easily make reservations for restaurants. IF you are a golfer the PGA Ocean course was great!

La Romana is a town with lots of shopping malls, heavy traffic, construction sites so quite noisy place.
Getting around is difficult unless you have a car.
We enjoyed the stay inside our accommodation, did not see much of the town.

I don't give a damn if the hotel is compliant with the green idiots! I wanted someone to help me get a comfortable mattress topper, to no avail! Maybe they should invest in hiring people speaking English
as soon as we arrived at the playa catalina hotel we were made to feel very welcome. It is a beautiful hotel with all the comforts, almost everything is new, the rooms are clean and have a comfortable bed, a TV with Netflix and free wi-fi in the room, and 2 complimentary bottles of water. we ate and drank there at the hotel, and the food was great. very good quality and reasonable prices. Thank you for having hosted and satisfied us in everything
the staff was very helpful. nice room food and service. staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. I don’t drink alcohol and they made sure I felt comfortable and got me virgin drinks. food was so good at all the restaurants. and out of all the Bahia principe resorts I’ve been to, this was one of the best ones entertainment wise. which I was surprised because I would expect more out of the punta cana ones. will be coming back.
Simona is greatly located, near the beach and many places to eat at. Breakfast was very nicely served in the terrace, including a great coffee, served a few minutes before eating. Loved the tips of what to do and where to eat that where given to us when we checked in. Would highly recommend the tour options they offer, as they have the best price we could find, compared to deals online or through other hotels we asked information from.
Very clean, alive is much better as on the photos here, cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too , there is a little terrace , opportunity for a parking, very hell apartment and for one person absolutely enough. And one more time - very clean, I will book again if I need. A washmashine is there too (normally not often to be there in a lot of such apartments in La Romana)
I recommend the hotel el dorado, a beautiful place where you can go for a weekend and get out of your comfort zone and be at peace, relaxed, and be able to rest in foolish tranquility and a good view of the patio, very natural sound of the animals the jacuzzi pool was 10/10 ⭐️recommended to live an unforgettable experience
Simple and clean budget Hotel in the heart of the busy city of La Romana. Equipped with a comfortable bed, shower with warm water, aircon, fan, TV and private parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free of charge and working well in the room. Credit cards accepted. There is a little corner shop next door.
The location was very convenient - because we had people coming from Punta Cana and Santo Domingo airport for a family event. The beach was clean, and the pool was very well maintained.
Rooms - housekeeping people could do better - sometimes they forgot to map the floor, replace the towels, etc.
1. The staff was polite and accommodating.
2. It is family oriented, great for children with disabilities.
3. Having choices for 2-2.30 hour tours was fantastic.
4. Having various restaurants for dinner as part of the all inclusive package is fantastic.
Enrique was a great host and very amicable.
The hotel is located near a beach (several minute walk) which also has some great restaurants with a variety of cuisines.
The pool and rooms are quite nice.
There is a Netflix subscription which is great!
We used El Dorado for one night. it was a nice stay, Giovanni the GM was super friendly and also the staff. The hotel area is well protected and safe. The beach is not far with several restaurants and bars.
Exceptional service from the driver at the airport to the hotel to the check-in staff to the maid service to the restaurant service to the level of detail, I could go on and on! Perfection at its finest!
The structure is very beautiful. It recalls the atmosphere of Greece and the Caribbean together. The family that runs the hotel is very close. The food is Italian and therefore very good
It is a house with a hotel service. They clean every day and make your rooms. It is an old house, but very, very clean. Will be back for sure. They take good care of us.Thanks to the staff.
The accommodation is lovely, and the staff even more so. A great location if you're going to a baseball game in La Romana.
The breakfast served in the morning was great!
