Kavarna is a little town, if you like big really crowded places maybe this one is not for you. Plenty of places and things to do in the area, lovely beaches and natural beauty. Nice bars and restaurants in the center of the town, food and value for the money is perfect. You will need a car to travel around to see things, not that far away from Kavarna is a mussel farm and restaurant, snail farm and restaurant, vineyard and orchards where you can buy fresh apple juice.

A seaside town with the focus on the beach.
A seaside town with the focus on the beach. Unfortunately the beach is quite stony and small so packed with people at this time of year (August)
People are friendly, there is a pedestrian area at the top of the hill and a small town. The area is a little run down but it is very pleasant with its own specific history. Also well placed for a visit to Balchik nearby.
If you are staying by the beach in Kavarna we would recommend a car. There is an infrequent bus service up to the town but the hill walk from beach to town is around 3km and is quite demanding

Kavarna is not closed to the property and should drive by car to the city. The city, however, is not as small as expected and has everything from bank to shopping and others. To drive to Kavarna from Romania is better to use Vama Veche custom and not Negru VOda since there the roads are not OK.

The city seems abandoned, it can be seen that nothing has been invested for years. There are many ruins, many hotels and buildings for sale, the grass and bushes have not been cut for a long time and everything looks like a horror movie. But the beach it's very nice and clean, same the water. There are few restaurants where you can eat, the food was decent to say, you just can't pay by card in all places, even if it says you can pay. So my recommendation is to look for another resort, indeed the prices are lower, but what it offers is not worth it.

Is a poor city, with many unfinished constructions and some shady streets.
The beach is decent, the sea had a lot of waves and is very rocky.
No Coronavirus measures were respected (nobody wears faced masks inside).
The food was good.

Kavarna town is not in a good shape vs other similar town resorts in Bulgaria.
Outside Kavarna there some are nice places as Thracian Cliffs or Kaliakria Resort which I strongly recommend for a stay.
Nice, helpful, and smiling hostess. Very quite place, good for relaxing, and the view was great - sea and mountains. We spent 3 days in the hotel, enjoyed the beautiful beach which was 5 minutes away by walking, and had our morning coffe on the balcony, which had a really nice view. The hotel was an average one, had some old TVs and not very good WiFi, but it had all we needed, and I would visit it again if I had a chance. For this kind of money, it was definitely worth it. If you seek more luxurious places, then this is not for you.
The hotel has huge studios: we had two bedrooms, three (!) balconies, two bathrooms and a large living room. However, the design of the apartments is a bit weird, with narrow corners and long halls. The bathroom was well equipped.
Very close to the beach, about 800 m with the car, less than 500 m by foot. The beach in Kavarna is surprisingly nice.
The elevator was very useful.
Breakfast was basic, but good. Very kind and friendly staff. We had a wonderful time at Prostor.
A. M. A. Z. I. N. G. view through those huge windows! When you're inside the living room, you see nothing but the sea; it feels almost like flying over the sea.
Very comfortable apartments.
The staff was very polite and friendly.
I avoid repeating hotels when we travel for pleasure, but here I would consider revisiting.
The place is an excellent starting point for tours around exciting places in the northern seaside of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
The pools and the views are simply amazing, more than I expected from a holiday in Bulgaria to be honest. We had rooms with sea view and it was charming, and the pools at the last level are amazing. Really nice that there is a lot of green area around the resort.
Food was also great, good quality for all inclusive. I loved that they offered a great variety of fruits, veggies and salads, but drinks could be of a better quality.
The pool was nice, the spa and saunas are very good, but what can i say more is that you should take a massage from Stefan. He is the master there. You will feel like a baby. Excellent services from him, thank you! Other than this, the hotel is good, you have sea view, very close to the sea, various food (but take care with that, see below), the Wi-Fi works very good (comparing to other hotels from Bulgaria).
The view is breathtaking, very close to the beach and restaurants. The place looks exactly as in the pictures. Apartment equipped with everything (including oven and laundry washing machine). The beach located immediately under the cliff where the hotel sits is really nice - it’s in a bay with clear water, fine sand and the children can play safe near the water as it not deep at all near the shore.
The well maintained, large pool in peaceful garden setting overlooking the sea is the stand out feature. We also enjoyed the balcony with shade and sea views, the relaxing atmosphere, the Bulgarian retro feel, and friendly manager and staff. This is a small family type hotel with typical Bulgarian breakfast.
Great spot for travellers seeking for good rest in solitude from overcrowded resorts. Great view of the sea. One of the greatest views from hotel swimming pool I have seen so far. The owners very helpful to answers any additional needs. Secured parking on site. I would gladly come back again sometime.
The room was big. The view to the sea was amazing. The way the moon light hit the water in the night was something i never saw.
To get to the Kavarna beach you only had to go down some stairs but if you wanted to go visit other beaches you had some good options in driving distance.
Beautiful hotel. Everything inside, the restaurant, the rooms and the bathroom is brand new. The big plus was the staff. Congratulations, everyone was polite and smiling, without being intrusive there was always someone to help.
Comfortable beds, many pools, great staff, the beach is very very close to the hotel. Clearly a great resort designed for family with kids. The studio was huge and the balcony as well.
This is a cheap accommodation in kavarna. It has a nice garden, a kitchen and 2 beds. It's good value and more than I need. Overall enjoyed the space, amenities and decoration
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, close to different terraces and also to the city open market. Very clean, it looks recently renovated, but also chic.
Wonderful and more than friendly service, great location and facility, spacious rooms! Amazing experience - I highly recommend it for your stay in Kavarna 😊
