Excellent accommodation on the lake Como. Great view, very comfy with easy access to the lake. Apartment by itself has everything needed, great host ready to help you when needed. Besides, the place does not have so many tourists so it is possible to feel the "real" spirit of the place. Highly recommendable.

Nesso is quiet and not full of tourists - very authentic and picturesque. There are wonderful passage ways to explore and swimming areas on the lake. It’s small enough to walk around and you can catch the bus or ferry to nearby towns including Bellagio.

We missed the chance for a boat trip - do take one it is a stunning lake. We ate at Tre Rose and it was wonderful home cooked food. The road into and out of nesso is steep and full of hazards with cars etc coming very quickly in the opposite direction. Not for the feint hearted. I would not miss the chance to visit again and the swim in Como was one of the highlights of my life. So gorgeous and swimming amongst fish in a stunning place around the bridge is unforgettable.

A very quiet town, only one restaurant (Hotel Tre Rose) but highly recommended. Don't drive there... first time visitors to Italy and confident drivers but the roads around here are lethal. Ended up crashing our hire car due to how people drive there. Nesso is great, but there is nothing going on in the evenings. Public transport links are fab, bus to popular areas only 2 Euro and 25 mins. Ferry port also. But last public transport is early so get back around 7pm with not much to fill the evening with. Nice and quiet though if thats what you like, with the ability to get to the busier areas.ChloéUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

It is a little remote from restaurants and sightseeing, except the gorgeous views of the mountains and lake. 20 minutes either way by car to the main towns. But that is its attraction.The apartment has a large kitchen and living room so we cooked there each evening. No eating and drinking out as the road home is very narrow and winding. Big and cheap Carrefour supermarket in Como. Drive up the hill through Nesso and on to Belagio rather than just the coastal route. Spectacular.

Four nights would have been adequate to cover the Lake. Hired a car at the airport and would have been better using 3 or 4 centres in order to see more of Italy. Not a great deal in Nesso….other than Tre Rose, where we dined every night. Excellent food and service. The boat service provided for travelling around the lake was well organised and very pleasant to use so we made full use of this.Our favourite place lakeside was Verenna and Villa Carlotta there was the highlight,well worth the entrance fee. Lake Como is a great holiday destination for people who enjoy beautiful scenery and exploring quaint little villages where there is something for everyone. An amazing town, famous for their cascades.
An amazing town, famous for their cascades. You can view the cascades down the pathway from the apartment, where you can go and eat at the local restaurant pizzeria Ness! Recommended! We had a lease car, so getting around to other towns like Bellagio and Como were easy, but in having said that, the roads up here are challenging! There is a bus service if required to visit other towns.

The host Emanuela was so helpful and kind, and she left us the sweetest welcome basket. We visited many other towns around the lake, and couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else but Nesso. It was located just next to a little bar and a grocery shop - perfect for self catering. The bed was big and comfortable, the place was very clean and beautifully rustic. It felt like a really authentic stay. We LOVED going to the private garden and swimming in Lake Como from the private beach which was located 20 mins walk away from the place. Nesso is a lovely place to stay. Cinzia was a wonderful host and really helpful.

We’ve been to Lago di Como multiple times, but Nesso has been our favorite starting point to explore the lake so far. The house is located quietly without any street noice and you reach the lake within 5-10 minutes by foot. There are also a lot of restaurants and bars in walking distance as well.

The pool is very big and great view from there as well. Nesso is a nice little town where you can buy everything for the stay in a little shop. Como and Bellagio are close by and the surrounding with the hills is very beautiful. The parking space was very welcome as it is difficult to park outside at the narrow Streits.
