Chiusi is a quaint town on top of a hill with beautiful views and is a great place for enjoying a walking day with nice things to see. The big thing for me was touring the subterranean labyrinths to see water cistern systems that were built in the first century and the underground labyrinths that had burial crypts labeled in Etruscan and Roman (latin). Rich in history and engineering.
Extremely well furnished and equipped apartment. The owner spared no efforts to make it comfortable, with attention to details. Very nice neighborhood. Free parking space in front and the streets nearby. The nice restaurant across the street offer 10% discount to Luca’s guests. And Lucas the owner was simply wonderful. Very thoughtful and accommodating. He even made the appointment for us when we inquired about where to go for a covid test. We would like to stop in Chiusi again when we are in the area, just to stay there!
The people who worked at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I had dinner at the restaurant, the tagliatelle with wild boar. Pasta was fresh and delicious. It’s in a nice area a few blocks from the train station. There is a small town center around the corner where I had a gelato and sat with the locals from the town. The room was quiet and comfortable and had a nice little shared lounge with an espresso maker. Woke up to the birds cooing on my little balcony.
Very spacious house. We were three families with small kids and there was more space than needed. Clean nice bathrooms, big rooms with comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen, nice garden, big space (two actually in front and back of the house) to eat together. If you’ll be lucky and quite enough late night outside you can see some wild animals approaching nearby. Lack of neighbors, absolutely relaxing place. Would recommend!
Extremely friendly and caring hosts. It is a family- run marvel of a B&B. Exeptional service, great place with historic rooms, big peaceful garden and jacuzzi with bar. It felt like a mix of museum, family home and garden made secret resort, we loved all and could have stayed longer. Thank you for this fantastic visit to Chiusi ( lovely old city by the way, with several museums, two Gelaterias and more)
This little family run B&B is in a convenient location very near the railway station in Chiusi.
The room we stayed in was attractively furnished and comfortable - it had very effective air conditioning which was needed in the hot weather.
The bathroom was small but well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant.
The estate is so pretty with its unobstructed view of Italy towns and Tuscany fields. the room is comfortable and nicely decorated. we love the garden, the vineyard and also the woods that you can walk after your meal. the breakfast is superb (thanks Rebecca for your service). The best part of the hotel is the pool which is definitely worthy a nice photo.
Period residence, with really nice ceiling frescos original from the 1700, rooms filled with antiques. Breakfast served in spacious garden. Parking available in the property, a real asset in the most central part of the medieval town, near the best restaurants. Friendly staff will do everything to please you.
Beautiful hotel in a gem of a tiny Tuscan town. Light, airy rooms. Complimentary breakfast on a lovely terrace. Gracious and very helpful staff. Short taxi ride from the train station (nice walk down, if you want the exercise). Try the neighborhood cafe just down the street and make friends with the locals.
It’s a fantastic location, so close to the train station. The restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly and professional. With the heat wave happening, I can’t express how delighted I was with the ductless cooling in the room to keep the temperature down.
The property was beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating! I recommend renting a car as the property is tucked away from nearby points of interest, which definitely helps add to it's unique beauty, but can make getting around a bit tricky!
Great country house in Ghiusi!! Our apartment was big and very clean! Carolina and Paoli are great! They made us homemade breakfast! I recomended this accomodation for families if you want to enjoy the beauty of country side. Is near the Lake trasimeno.
This quiet, peaceful location was exactly what we wanted after busy Rome. The breakfast was outstanding and we had our best day driving around the hill towns nearby. I even had a swim in the lovely pool.
Beautiful Villa on a hillside; very clean and well maintained. Fantastic and helpful staff. 10 minutes to the train station and the historic town of Chiusi. Nice to relax with drinks around the pool.
The staff, particularly Aliona, were exceptionally helpful. It had the charm of a traditional tuscan hotel with the comfort of a recent refurbishment. The food was the best i have had anywhere.
Very small (under 10 rooms) hotel in a beautiful location. Staff (especially Sergio) is very welcoming. Great breakfast for the size of the hotel (you have everything).
Couldn’t be better, fantastic accommodation. The host was really nice. She even gave us a lift, so we didn’t have to walk in the heat to the train station
