The room is spacious & the design is nice. The staff are very helpful & responsive. We love their hospitality. Except for the cleanliness needs to improve, construction nearby (no privacy). The food display & setup are nice just tasteless and cold.

In this area the traffic is very crowded so I suggest better ride motorbike than car.
And u hv to plan ur trip carefully because of the traffic.

I like that it's quiet, and tucked away. But where we stayed was a little inconvenient at times. Travelling by scooter is highly recommended or you may sit in traffic in a car for ages. The closest attraction to us was Da Maria.

It was a very poor experience of stay in the villa, regards of staff were friendly and trying to be helpful. The villa looks generally good and nice. However, it has been a huge inconveniece for us in this trip to Bali. The location is not ideal , isolated from main streets, all restaurants and bar. The pool is smaller than what could be expected from the photos Neighbour and background noises were really disturbing the whole stay including rooster crowing, dogs barking , and people chatting next villa, sound of closing doors ect. The chef of hotel was never available in need of food for emergency. Hot bath was not ideal as their hot water system only allow certain amount of hot water to go in bath tub Hot water system broke down for 2 days out 5 nights stay. Manager gave 2 beers for complimentary Following all the bad experiences , insects including ants and cockroaches were found in main floor one morning. Manager again gave 2 beers for complimentary. I was glad to leave the villa by the end of stay and not hoping to come back.

I would rate it 0 if I could.
I would rate it 0 if I could. It was worst nightmare experience.
We felt disheartened on my first Villa staycation experience, I’ve booked this Villa in advanced about 4 months ago for my wedding anniversary with my Husband and my 8 months old son but it turned out to be not what I was expected.
When I check-in on 27 April 2019 at Amara Villa Umalas, the receptionist told me the Villa that I’ve booked was fully booked when I’ve booked it with full payment on January 2019 in advanced about 4 months ago. Their reason was they had technical system error and it took 4 months till I got here to told me that. It was really disappointed.
Alternatively, they gave us to stay at D’wina Villa Canggu as replacement under their same company. It was another nightmare experience to stay at D’wina Villa Canngu. Villa’s interior are poorly maintain, their floor are dirty, the pool feels like it doesn’t had chemical wash for quite long, poorly maintain.
Especially their beds, they have nest of bed bugs in their bed frames. I’ve been bitten by bed bugs for several nights. I’ve told the receptionist about it, they only replaced the mattress but not the bed frames. Due to bed bugs we had to sleep at the living room on the floor. It was sleepless nights.
I’m not able to review on D’wina Villa Canngu’s page due to initially I’ve booked this Villa but it was fully booked without given any acknowledge to me.
Regardless their service is very poor.
This must be rectify as soon as possible.
I will never book under any of this company for my future vacation.
+ Reasonably priced for a short stay.
+ Location slightly off the very busy and noisy road of Kerobokan Road.
+ Enough warungs and marts on the main street.
+ An averagely clean villa.
+ Clean pool (water is very cold and pump operates from 9am to 4pm only)
+ There's daily housekeeping
- and you will need to PM your instructions on what u want done e.g. a change of towels, clear the bin.
- Be prepared that the housekeeper will tell you that they change towels once every three days.
I was in the twin room for a night. There was no windows, so it was alright. Then I was in a room with a big window for 2 nights. Much better room! Both were clean. Common area cleaned everyday. Got sheets and blankets that smelled freshly washed and many pillows. I was comfortable and the family was very nice. I felt safe there. The location was alright for me. I just took grabs to places. Overall, for the price, one of the best places I’ve stayed in Bali.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Secret River Villa. The photos do not do justice to this beautiful place. It has everything you could ask for; the pool is amazing, the rooms are super comfortable, and there is space for everyone. Diah is wonderful and will provide you with anything you could want - just ask. We will definitely come back here when we are in Bali next.
We love everything about this property. Located in very calm and quiet area but strategic enough to reach all popular cafes, restaurants, clubs, etc. It also close to many different local warung. The property itself very peaceful, clean and wonderful staff. The bed and the bath tub are our favorites. Best place to stay in the south of Bali.
We Like everything from this Villa.
From the Manager and staff who always ready to assist our stay
Mr. Genter Villa Manager always ready to help us with everything we need.
Me and the whole family really happy and thankful to personally welcoming us and explain every detail.
Definitely will stay again when we visit Bali.
This hotel is the epitome of hospitality. My girlfriend and I were treated to top-notch facilities coupled with staff who genuinely care about your experience. Their local knowledge added immense value to our trip, guiding us to some of the area's hidden gems. Kudos to the team for creating such a remarkable experience!
Peaceful, a beautiful slice of Old Bali, full of character and charm. We had the best one bed pool villa and it was delightful.Staff are delightful, and food was great. We loved coming back to the peace and grace of Plataran each day.
Great location
Super helpful staffs, very accommodating.
They have Gym and Sauna room inside this villa very convenience.
Highly recommend this villa to anyone who would like to spend their unforgettable moment in bali.
Brand new guesthouse conveniently located between Kerobokan and Denpasar. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and cold AC. More space than others I've stayed at with own kitchenette and dining area
The villa is clean and pleasant. Its location is ideal, not far from Seminyak and Petitenget. It's quiet, private, and there are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance. Just perfect!
The property was comfortable and quiet. The staff was absolutely wonderful!! There was a restaurant right next door. Also I was able to rent a motorbike at the hotel. very convenient!
Great location. Strong, Cold AirCon. Good water pressure in the shower. Comfy Bed. Owner is very hands on and attentive, which is rare in Bali. He is also very generous.
Everything is perfect. The room was spacious and the view was really nice. The people in the hotel were so nice and so helpful.
We will definitely be back!
