The breakfast bar is excellent with many selections! The ladies who care for it keep it clean and organized very well. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was clean and neat as well as all the plumbing worked well. It has been a consistently great place to stay for those reasons and because it is close to our family in La Mesa.

People just didn't seem very happy or friendly. The little lakes were cute. Never really saw the river. I mean...it just doesn't really stand out from other U.S. towns around this size. But, to be fair...we were here on a mission...so... I hadn't been to the Santee area in more than 20 years. It has changed & progressed very nicely. The weather was great & the locals were friendly & accomodating. Everything is in close proximity & easy to find. Short distance to Mission Beach in San Diego too. My stay was too short but well worth it.JOANNUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
Close to Juniper High School with football games for 6-12...
Close to Juniper High School with football games for 6-12 players from Western States with my nephew and family from Maricopa, AZ. City stores laid out in easy in-out without effected traffic. Even the Country Club Golf Club was tastefully entered in a quiet neighborhood. We lived here for over 25 years so it was like going home. Good central location. Close to freeways so only 20 minutes from downtown,. Santee has everything you need with a hometown feel and convenience. Very nice.
