Very beautiful scenery and peaceful.
Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Asked for room change off the pond and was accommodated. Petting zoo animals sweet, but they need grooming and tended to better. Hotel restaurant food was Great. Most of the staff was too. The ducks were adorable and hung out with us by our room

The Amargosa Valley is a great value while visiting Death Valley. The rates here are significantly lower than in the park. Well worth the drive. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms and nice facilities. RV travelers can also take advantage of the RV park on site.

Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café 😉 with nice view on the mountains and on a small lake they built there and donkeys, ducks and geese. Small casino inside and a bar as well as restaurant and a shop 24/7.

You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley.
You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley. I went there to experience Death Valley and got an Area 51 and Alien Cathouse into the bargain.
Hidden gem is the Stateline Bar opposite the resort. good beer, local knowledge and a chance to leave your signature on the wall!

Restaurant for breakfast was good. Casino area was quaint. Convenience store was awesome -- truly convenient to have in the middle of the desert. Restaurant and hotel service were nice. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bed and pillows, plenty of towels, patio access to the lake, one sink in the main bedroom, in addition to the sink in the bathroom. Gas station with reasonable prices. Fun large cow statues amidst the gorgeous view of the mountains. Somewhat close to Death Valley Park entrance.
We loved every minute of our stay in this amazing hotel. It has everything you need: great beds, spacious and quiet rooms, proximity to the Death Valley National Park, laundromat and then some more: grocery store, gas station, nice swimming pool, a casino, live music, a pond with ducks 😄
We stayed for two nights, but we wish our stay was longer. We can‘t wait to be back and are very grateful to have come across this hotel.
This hotel and casino is on the way to Death Valley from the east side and kind of quirky interesting with its pond, chapel and all that lawn in the middle of the desert. There was an amazingly talented cover duo that was playing in the casino restaurant area the night we stayed and that was really fun. They played requests with skill and had fun with the small audience.
It's definitely an interesting place, very unusual (at least for Europeans, I guess): hotel+casino+restaurant+farm house+museum. There are interesting historical artifacts throughout the property. Casino and 2 restaurants inside. A nice little lake and some farm animals just outside the hotel.
The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere.
Rooms are very standard.
Tarantula Ranch made our Trip . Watching the stars and a beautiful sunrise was magical . Don’t be put off my the name there are no spiders . This was a comfortable glamping experience with Shower and coffee facilities available. I wish the owners would expand and have these in every state it is far better experience than a hotel . 5 Stars from two happy Friends
I spent one night at Longstreet before heading over to Death Valley the next day. The room was very large and comfortable. I really liked that they had a restaurant and mini-mart in the hotel. Otherwise, I'm not sure where you would buy food or other items. It's in a very isolated spot. All you need is right in the same building.
all the memorabilia that had been collected and put on display throughout the hotel The casino area and that you could play at the bar. The outdoor space with different statues and old machinery on display. The chapel, the lake , the swimming pool and the gas pumps and not least of all the stunning views surrounding the hotel.
Comfortable, friendly hotel that also has an RV park and truck stop. The rooms and grounds were well maintained and safe. The cafe served good food at reasonable prices. A plus, for the guy, was the small casino. (We were visiting Death Valley for a couple days along with our two small dogs.)
A slightly dated property, but there are very few choices in this remote area just east of Death Valley. But we were nonetheless pleased that the room was comfortable and clean. We had fun taking some pictures of the big cow in the back parking area of hotel.
I arrived at the hotel at 3am in the morning and after sleeping a couple of hours left the hotel early in the morning. When I checked my bank account, I realized that they charged me for 2 nights and still no correction.
I need my refund!
This hotel exceeded our expectations! Staff was very friendly and the room with lake view totally worth it. We enjoyed the pool and had fun at the Friday night show. Would absolutely go back there anytime for a Death Valley stop.
Great location after a drive through Death Valley. Room very large and accessible. Staff were very welcoming. Grounds were well kept. Quirky and interesting hotel with a great story. We loved feeding the animals out front.
Very nice atmosphere, restaurant was good, nicely arranged lake in front of the hotel. Everything works fine (aircon, fridge, shower). Clean an spacious room. There is a shop next to the reception for all every day items.
Very nice, "casino style" hotel. Nice view on the desert and mountains. There is nothing around, but inside you have a shop, bar, restaurant and all the facilities you need. Very good value for money!
Rooms were clean, nice little store in the hotel open 24/7, rooms were comfortable, especially the bed. super close to Ash Meadows, which was wonderful. Amazing sunsets!
Great hotel with casino, good restaurant , pool and hot tub in the middle of nowhere. Stopping here is a must on each road trip in southwest. Unforgettable experience.
