I love the river next to the park and my family enjoys the beach area every time we visit. On my last visit I was expecting to ride the boat that tours the river but it was not available, I hope it's available time, but Carlsbad its a beautiful town.

I loved Carlsbad. I like the people.
I loved Carlsbad. I like the people. The area is beautiful. There is more to see than the Carlsbad Caverns all though the caverns were pretty dang awesome!!!!. Sitting Bull Falls for one. I loved all the mom and pop restaurants.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn and suites for our recent trip to Carlsbad Caverns. Loved having the extra sofa bed. They served breakfast early enough so that we could a early start to see the Caverns. The hotels recommendation for eating dinner at D.H. Lescombes Winery and Bistro. A great place for adults to enjoy a wonderful meal
Comfort Inn and Suites is nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. I great place to stay when at Carlsbad.

Carlsbad Caverns is one of the greatest of the national parks. No way will you leave disappointed. Schedule your tickets as early in the day as possible to avoid crowds. Some fine restaurants in the city - we ate at the Trinity, excellent food & drink!!

A fantastic cavern.
A fantastic cavern. It has all of the drama of detail you would expect but this is a very large cave. Alot enough time to go through it. The cavern is mostly accessible by wheelchair, although there is signage to tell folks when it is not. One of the best caves I have been to in terms of the geologic formations as well as the displays that have been arranged. Restrooms are below grade as well as in the visitor center.

The Caverns was the main reason we went and it was well worth it. It was a very steep walk and taxing but worth it. You don't need hiking shoes, but good tennis shoes work fine. The Bat show was a dude since there were so few bats I nearly missed it. I would skip that.
Everything was great. Super comfortable beds. Quiet. Breakfast was good.
**Kristal, Working desk on Labor Day, was SO nice. She is perfect for the hospitality business! It was very busy, and families w kids were wiping out the breakfast as soon as they could put it out. But Kristal was very accommodating and friendly. She was hustling getting everything and everyone accommodated. She was great! It was a sold out weekend and Kristal handled everything exceptionally. She is a big asset to this hotel!
The location is perfect! Very close to the middle of town, easy access to restaurants, brew pubs, stores, everything! Bathroom was nice, television was nice, bed was comfy. We appreciate having a fridge with the freezer section and microwave. The Trinity Hotel is within walking distance (less than a minute) and has a restaurant where we had a full service breakfast.
Due to COVID there were no breakfasts. A couple of items in our room needed repairs but it was nothing that hindered our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds appeared to be clean and they were comfortable. My visit to Carlsbad was not for pleasure but the hotel at least made it easier. The grounds were well maintained and looked nice.
We booked a room for two nights and they gave us a room with two beds and charged us for one night. I believe that they switched our rooms because it was a smoking room. The only reason we stayed here in because it's nearly Carlsbad Caverns.
Very nice, new hotel. The room is large and has everything you would need in it. There is a fenced in outdoor area to hang out with plenty of tables and chairs and corn hole. It was a great place for our kids to play.
Exceptional staff. Family run and they really care. My mom forgot her phone and I had to come back and back track 40 miles. They were so helpful. When i come back to Carlsbadthis is the only place id stay..
Great location. Close to Carlsbad Caverns. IIHOP, Subway sandwiches, Walmart within walking distance.
Comfortable mattress, comforter an pillows.
Staff was super helpful.
Nice, new and clean hotel. Staff was very friendly. Great location for staying an evening or two to spend the day at Carlsbad Caverns. Very comfortable beds.
