We loved staying in this bed and breakfast place! It is family owned business and they all do everything they can, above and beyond, so that their guests will feel comfortable and happy. The building was recently renovated and beautiful, the room was big and very comfortable, and the location could not be better! Few minutes from the beach, restaurants, and the promenade. Problem of Follonica services - not working parking automats, no parking place, not working garbage baskets/containers. But great nightlife, many place to spend and enjoy day and night time. Aqua park is wonderfull, night park with carts, mini-golf and many other games. Restaurants to enjoy all types of food.

The purpose of our visit to Follonica was to visit a cousin...
The purpose of our visit to Follonica was to visit a cousin we had never met before. We had a wonderful time. We were very close to an area without car traffic and the beach walk area. It was so nice. There was a wonderful restaurant, Taverna Della Strega, right across from where we stayed. We could have stayed much longer in Follonica to see the surrounding area.

Not too far away to come from Pisa Airport...about a couple of hours drive. Can also take the train from Pisa to Follonica. Plenty of good clean fine sandy beaches along the coast and water looks clean. Many good places to eat out or get to the market if on self catering. Follonica is a small town where people actually stop at the...
Follonica is a small town where people actually stop at the cross-walks! This may sound strange but I live in Rome where the life is much faster and the people much less hospitable. Follonica is completely different, its a slow-paced beachfront town.

It includes coffee and a pastry which is the typical Italian breakfast. The rooms have a lovely Alice in Wonderland aesthetic they they are so pretty and spacious. Everything was clean. Just off the main roads so there is no noise but 10 minutes away from the beach and local bars where you can hang out with the locals.

Although my shower took forever to turn hot and I almost run out of time and had to get back on the road I still enjoyed this old school hotel in the building that is at least a hundred years old.

We visited during the off season and it was quiet and relaxing. This property is also a very short walk to lots of restaurants and shops. I can imagine it is the place to be during the summer.
