Modern decor. Very comfortable. Quality linens. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Fabulous breakfast - made to order eggs, coffee and fresh OJ. Absolutely best location. View of the old fort. Edge of the huge park and shopping streets. Gyro around the corner. Pane & Souvlaki restaurant behind - great value on a stunning square.

You cannot beat the historical Cavalieri hotel for the views. Worth the money to get a room with a balcony at the front. Beautiful view of the water and old fort, looking out over the Esplanade. Close walk to the center of things and all the shops and restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet.

My parents and their friends loved everything in Greece except Andromaches Holiday Apartments. We have never seen such a terrible attitude of the owners to the guests as in this hotel.
Close proximity to the airport and the city of Corfu, friendly people, beautiful landscapes and incredible sea, historical sites and religious shrines, Mediterranean cuisine and delicious local dishes. It's all about Achílleion and Corfu.

Its a lovely place if you're planning a relaxing holiday.
Its a lovely place if you're planning a relaxing holiday. We stayed at the seven suites and had a great experience there. I would recommend renting a car if you're travelling as a family as taxis are quite pricey and a rental offers more flexibility/ convenience. If you're travelling as a couple, ATV options are good too as well as mopeds although the roads are a bit sketchy so ATV's are probably better... noisier but more cool!
Fish and seafood menus are great, most of the fish is sourced locally and you can really taste the freshness. There aren't many VG options but good vegetarian options. If you stay at an apartment, you can always get shopping at a range of supermarkets in the area in case you prefer to cook. The sea is clear blue and loads of spots to chill, either popular beaches or just off road seafront spots so you can find your own haven outside of the popular attractions.
Stray cats and dogs are around so watch out if you have young children.

The description of the villa was that it had wifi and was a good place to do work. The speed of the wifi was 1Mb, totally unsuitable for work. There was no heating available in the Villa despite it being cold at night. The TV box had been removed and thus the TV did not work. The box was returned the next day and we were given electric heaters but there was no central heating it having not been "joined up!" On the next day, we had a blackout at about 1500 in the afternoon initially we were told from the triggering of a switch in the villa but having found the electricity box no switch had been triggered. We were told it was because the village was blacked out but the villa next door had lights as did the village at the bottom of the hill. We were left for 4 hours without heat or lighting. When the engineers did eventually reach us and repair the electricity, as we were talking to them in the kitchen the electricity cut out again. Thus having an inadequate wifi, the experience of poor provision heating and a TV that had not worked, we were left at 2000 on the second night with absolutely no confidence in the electricity supply and thus decided to leave the Villa. We have requested a refund and will be pursuing this matters believe that the services that we contracted to receive and advertised in the brochure fell well short of what would reasonably be expected.
