The property was clean, relaxing and welcoming. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We got in late from a full day in Rome and they were able to squeeze my husband and I in for massage treatments and dinner. Lovely place, nice and quiet.

It’s a new and tranquil hotel where we spent a night on our way from Florence to Rome. It is very close to the cozy natural hot springs, Sorgente ternale delle Piscine Carletti. a quaint town that seems to have frozen in time. it is a lovely but slow paced place and the roads are really tiny to the point where driving is large car is not recommended. people are friendly and there are a lot of teen agers and university students. you can find cute shops and lovely dining options. unfortunately, i didn't get to tour the town but i heard that there are interesting places to visit.

Viterbo has a very large historic area, quite a lot of which is either pedestrianised or restricted to local traffic. It has a lot of parking areas outside the historic area, and there are elevators from two of them to the edge of the centre. It is not only an interesting place to walk around, but the countryside around is well worth investigating.

We found Viterbo to be an underrated gem of a town. It was a university town which meant it provided a youthful population, with lots of eating options and price points. The medieval center of town was amazingly beautiful, and the locals were very friendly. It is easy to access nearby sites from this city, while still being close to Rome.
