Scarriff is a lovely little town, but it has everything you would need-stores, restaurants, pubs, pharmacy, doctors. Beautiful scenery all around and all the people we've met are fantastic and super friendly. Great fishing in the river and plenty to do if you like sightseeing.

Close to shops and restaurants in Scarriff and Tuamgraney. We loved having the fire and made use of it while there as it got a bit cool in the evenings. We used it as a base and as it’s not too far from Ennis it was easy then to get around Clare and visit all the beaches and major attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher. Geraldine was lovely and very helpful and kind to us throughout our stay. Would absolutely recommend!

She was very friendly and helpful with other queries we had. The house is wonderfully spacious and clean (I actually commented to a friend on how fresh and clean the towels and bed linen smelt!). The house is in a great location in the town of Scarriff and yet extremely peaceful - the best of both worlds.

The Riverbank Cottages themselves are excellent and the host Geraldine is a lovely lady and very easy to deal with.
