The room was clean, quite small but perfect to rest. The restaurant was closed and was a self check in which we didn't know until we arrived but was sorted very quickly. Would be a lovely view but there was scaffolding due to a renovation. I am sure it would have been the perfect stay otherwise and once the renovations have been completed. Right on the harbour, so the location was great

The suite was extensive with a huge bathroom. Rather a bizarre configuration because it comprised various parts of an old house, but very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially accommodating our having breakfast in a separate room as we weren't feeling terribly well. The grounds were lovely, too. A lot of thought and work has been put into this hotel.

The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

Lovely little village and well worth a visit!
Lovely little village and well worth a visit! It has several really good pubs and restaurants. We’ve only ever been in October but I’m sure it would be lovely during the summer! Driving through the village if you need to get to accommodation up the hill can sometimes be a challenge. Just take it slow and not be in a hurry!

Picturesque harbour village, plenty of places to eat out if you book early, the Salamander was our favourite. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Lovely to walk around very narrow streets. Brilliant little coves and beaches nearby, along coastal path walks.

The Harbour was beautiful, we ate at the Fountain inn and the Ship in Mevagissey also the Hewas and the Polgooth inns were excellent out of town.
The roads are very narrow but drivable with care. Would certainly
return for another holiday.
Toured England/Wales for 3 weeks, staying in about 10 different places, and this was by far the best place. Absolutely magical. Amazing hospitality, with treats upon arrival in our room. Colorful & artistic & whimsical decoration. Loved it. Friendly hosts. And absolutely amazing breakfast every day. Make sure you leave enough time for the breakfasts! Beautiful drive in and out of the inn, wonderful Cornwall towns nearby.
We loved Mevagissey. Lovely room. Very clean and comfortable with a great view over the harbour. We really appreciated the quality of the lighting in the room. Very often hotel rooms particularly bathrooms have poor lighting. Helen was an excellent host and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to be in a working port and share the dining room with the local fisherman having their morning coffee.
The location is amazing, the hosting was the perfect mix of respecting our space and being there if ever required and the Cranny room is beautiful!
It's close to some built up areas while also being beautifully secluded, you're 10-15 minutes away from some wonderful beaches and within drivable distance to everything else in Cornwall.
100% worth a visit and there is a good chance we will be back!
Mike, the owner, visited on the first evening to ensure that we were happy and to answer questions, which he did. The house is excellent with three en-suite bedrooms and a big kitchen.
Close to St Austell for shopping. Mevagissey is a lovely harbour village with numerous places to eat. The hill is steep but then that is true of most seaside locations in Cornwall!
A super week.
The whole property was delightful. The range of spaces to sit, use and enjoy were really well balanced - there were even books and games to loan. Breakfasts were superb and Caroline is a master of the hollandaise sauce! Both Mike and Caroline were really open and welcoming hosts and had great tips for the local area - even how to master the hill into and out of the village!
The home is a 300 yr old mill house located on a narrow lane in Cornwall, close to Truro and St Austell. The property has been fully upgraded to modern standards and reflects the pursuit of quality by the owners, Denise and Vic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique and beautiful home. Denise and Vic are talented inn keepers and a real joy to get to know.
Loved the location, beautiful view from the room, balcony and breakfast room and only a 5 minute walk into Mevagissey. The breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh locally produced ingredients. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins from afar, there were even binoculars available in the room 😀
Very up to date with facilities good quality bed and very well laid out property. Set in the town so no driving around to do,restaurants all in walking distance.
Parking included in the price at a local car park near by which is a nice touch.
The room was very well presented with a great view across the fields. Excellent breakfast and great hosts. Mevagissey and the surrounding area were lovely and no need to travel far during our 5 night stay. We will certainly return soon.
The view was stunning, breakfast was absolutely superb the Trevalsa Court Hotel is beautiful, lovely walk down to the beach and nearby to the Mevagissey, which we walked down to and enjoyed.
This is an absolute gem in the South West.
Clean well presented hotel with friendly and helpful owners and staff. It has a nice sun deck with great views across the bay. The breakfast provided, although not traditional cooked, was very nice with lots on choice.
I loved everything, the staff, location and the service was impeccable. I can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed and chilled out so I am so very thankful to mevagissey bay hotel for making my weekend perfect
Pleasant experience on checking in to the hotel, cream tea on arrival.
Fantastic sole dish for evening meal well presented and just the right combination of ingredients.
Breakfast pleasant and well presented.
Nice clean bright room with comfortable bed. Great location, 5 minute walk down into the harbour area and about a 8 minute walk back up, it’s fairly steep but not too bad. owners are very friendly.
The location is absolutely superb. Best view in Mevagissey and right in the middle of town. The house is beautiful - lots of space but cosy and homely.
