I liked the location with convenience stores and gas stations within walking distance. The second room was clean. The pool and weight room looked clean and maintained and the parking area was also clean, well lit at night, and safe.

We were in DeKalb visiting family, so we didn't visit a lot of attractions. It is a fun yet family friendly college town. While there, we enjoyed visiting the nearby, Chief Shabbona Forest Preserve. Beautiful piece of forest land with trails, playground, and picnic pavilion. We ate at a quaint little place called the Junction Eating Place. The Junction had a train themed atmosphere complete with a train that ran on a track around the inside of the dining room up near the ceiling. My younger children were fascinated with the train. The food was excellent as well. They served American, Asian, Italian and Mexican dishes at our table alone. Will definitely return to The Junction on our next visit to DeKalb! We have enjoyed visiting DeKalb many times and look forward to returning again in the future!

Dekalb is a college town, some of the sights we wanted to see were closed over the weekend. There were plenty of restaurants though, there's a great pancake house there, forgot the name, sorry, but the food was outstanding! The weather was below 15 degrees the whole time we were there, I'm from Arizona, and we really suffered through it, but it's not anyone's fault, with that😅
The hotel was clean, friendly staff and comfortable. The price was good for a Saturday night. Very good location for what we needed. Would recommend. Had a nice pool, but we did not get a chance to use
The hotel was clean airy and quiet. We liked the swimming pool and the fact that there was green spaces around. The staff were very helpful and there was a good breakfast, albeit very processed.
location was great. Not far from NIU campus. Did'nt get to eat any meals there but there were plenty of places to eat near by. Wil definatly stay there again when I go back to DeKalb.
The room was big and it was very clean. It had a Jacuzzi bathtub which I was surprised and excited about and the bathroom was very spacious. Bed and pillows were very comfy!
I liked the bed and the shower was fine. Everything was pretty clean. I didn't spend too much time in the room (due to work), but it was a good stay overall.
