Beautiful, clean room! Very good restaurant ! The front desk staff was outstanding !! Spoke fluent English and was very hospitable! We stayed 5 nights, so We did have requests for restaurants and reservations, train connections, calling taxis, finding a nail salon, local attractions, etc. On more than one occasion they would consult other staff members with our requests and several people were working at one time to answer our needs. We felt the staff went above and beyond while always making us feel like we were a priority. Loved our stay.

Location was surprisingly good, as the hotel is right at the end of the long promenade of the viale della Vittoria. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and so was the dinner I ate the evening before in the "bistro" (which is what the front desk staffed called their restaurant).

Ancona may not be an obvious holiday destination, but there's a scruffy charm to it that I like, and there's enough to do here for a couple of days. It's also a good base from which to explore the Marche region of Italy - I used trains and buses to do full-day and half-day trips to numerous interesting towns during my ten-night. (Smaller villages would require a car.)

Ancona in winter is not a tourist destination, but for those who want to experience small town Italy it has much to offer. I would recommend a visit if you are already familiar with the country. The tourist office map has 4 walks which take you around the centre. The Mole has a wonderful museum where blind, partially sighted and curious people can touch all the sculpture casts. Ancona is well connected by bus and train. The Friday market was fascinating.

Very interesting port city with a charming, historic old town. View from the cathedral perched on one promontory is magnificent… and the walk back down through the ancient streets is interesting: friendly people, good and some great restaurants serving local specialties. The Marche wines from the area are a joy to discover.

We used Ancona as an overnight stay to break up a long train ride, in hindsight we would have kept travelling to our destination. Ancona harbour and old town are worth a visit, especially the Centro old part. Our accommodation was some 30 minutes walk from Centro, the walk took in some lovely views, although steep in parts. Our accommodation was only 10 minutes walk from the train station and was quite ok to stay in, the breakfast was very nice.

A mixed city - the industrial port at one end and quiet residential / tourist areas at the other. The western residential area is nice to stay, near the cliffs and Passetto beach. More a place to relax than for frantic sightseeing, although there is history if you want it.

Great town to explore without crowds.
Great town to explore without crowds. Roman ruins and historic buildings and streets. Recommend going to the church in the hill and walking down. Amazing churches/amphitheatre/market/stairways piazza’s without crowds of tourists.
The hotel on the outskirts of Ancona boasts a commendable staff, characterized by professionalism and friendliness. From check-in to daily interactions, the personnel's dedication to guest satisfaction shines through. The breakfast spread is a highlight, offering a delightful start to the day with a variety of options to suit different tastes.
We were in Ancona for business and didn't have too much time to enjoy the hotel's amenities, but the customer service was one of the best we have experienced in a long time.
We were also very impressed with the qualitiy of the breakfast buffet. Looking forward to retuning one day to enjoy all the hotel has to offer.
The hotel is very modern, clean, and very comfortable. The individuals who worked at the hotel were very professional, helpful, and overall extremely nice. The breakfast was great, the double espresso was energizing, and the staff always were smiling!!
Overall excellent hotel, right near the center of Ancona.
Beautiful location only a short walk from Passetto beach (which has a lift for those who can't climb the steep stairs back up!) We liked the relaxed but elegant vibe of the hotel, the great breakfast and the gym. The beds were very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. We hope to be able to come back!
The property was very clean and modern. The staff was exceptional. Very professional, friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Europe. I have stayed in many. Dinner was very good and the restaurant service was impeccable. Overall, a great visit.
The owner was very friendly! We bought some local olive oil as a souvenir. Breakfast was good (mainly sweet items though, as usual in Italy). We also enjoyed the pool and the general surroundings. It's a very nice place to walk around in the early morning.
The staff were lovely, we enjoyed the breakfast and after walking around site seeing all day, we loved that the restaurants located only few doors down from the hotel were popular and convenient, with good food. Also very convenient to the station.
It’s a good hotel just in front of the train station and 20 minutes walk from the port. So it’s an excellent solution if you have a transfer and need to stay overnight in Ancona. The room and facilities are the typical of a three star hotel.
The location is very nice. It is easy to reach from Ancona centre.
It is on a hill behind trees just a few hundreds metres off the main road. Quiet and cosy though.
A nice and friendly family, who loves nature, runs the place.
Very nice hotel! Both women working at check in where extremely helpful. Breakfast included with stay was GREAT! great location walking distance to water and some great restaurants.
