Once a wool factory, Il Cavalier D'Arpino dates back to the 16th century. It is now a charming hotel with a spacious garden and wonderful views across the valley.

The hosts were fantastic! Anna Maria treated us like family. She made a dinner for us that rivalled any fancy restaurant.

Beautiful inside and out with a wonderful restaurant for dinner and awesome wines made by the chef. Our waiter didn’t speak English, but he was excellent in every way and patient with our translator app.

Very pretty and historical town with beautiful palazzi.
Very pretty and historical town with beautiful palazzi. The restaurant scene was very disappointing. A couple of basic trattorias within walking distance but no elegant or atmospheric eating places. All the good places are out of town it seems.
Civita Vecchia di Arpino very interesting.

Arpino is a very historical area with a lot of Roman n Pre-Roman history. Visit the acropolis nearby which is very old. Remains of the old wall and an archway into the old town - it is unusual construction and called a ski arch.

All the people are very friendly.
All the people are very friendly. I liked the choice available for restaurants and bars, and there were plenty of historical buildings to see. There were a variety of walks to go on, and the place is extremely safe at any time of day or night.

Great lace with a lot of undeveloped potentials.

Plenty of sightseeing and possibility for gastro-tourism, yet the locals are too lazy to work hard and deliver the product the tourists want to see. This is the real Italy. The local Italy. The Province. If you expect charming smiles and customer service as in Egyptian or French 4 star hotels you are in the wrong place. Here the food is made fresh but there are no menus in the good restaurants. They serve what they have products for. Tomorrow it will be something different. :)
We were just passing through, and we picked a favorite hotel on the spot. Because the decoration style of the picture is very distinctive. We drove a mountain road to get there, only to find out later that we were going to another place to pick up the keys, so we spent the night at the place where we picked up the keys, not the style shown in the picture. The actual place to spend the night was relatively ordinary, but the breakfast was very rich, even my favorite fried eggs, juice, milk, coffee, and all kinds of bread, which was wonderful
After 4 nights in Rome, La Pietra was a very peaceful refuge, in the hills outside of Arpino, the very charming birthplace of Cicero. The grocery had good local wine, cheese, and bread for picnics along Camino di San Benedetto.
I picked this agriturismo because of the reviews for dinners. Unfortunately, during the week, in the off season, they don’t cook, unless they know that there will be enough diners. Breakfast was good, with a rotating selection of pastries, bread, meat, coffee and juice.
Just one of those hotels where everything is as it should be: service, comfort, location and décor were all close to perfection. Romantic rooms, great breakfast and a complementary tea salon all add to a wonderful experience. Arpino is a great place to spend 2-5 days. We will be back for sure!
The atmosphere, the location, the staff... Everything is great! The first time, we ended up here randomly and we liked it so much we came back to spend a few more night in beautiful Arpino. Especially loved the garden and the tearoom on the first floor.
The hotel was very clean ,the room was a great Size ,the aircon was great as it was very hot during our visit .the breakfast at the hotel was varied and ample and the location of the hotel was ideal as just a short walk to arpino main square
Beautiful gardens, rooms and delicious breakfast! Spotless rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, a short walk away from the piazza and there’s a handy little store next door that sells groceries and drinks.
This is a mall family hotel at a lovely small town.
As this is an old building, the ceiling is very height.
The place is clean.
Sonia, the owner, was lovely and helpful.
Breakfast was good and fresh.
Thank you.
